Time-controlled switch is a widely used electrical component, mainly used in the control of multiple time periods, lighting circuits or low-power equipment can be controlled for multiple time periods, very intelligent and convenient, today we will focus on the wiring and use of time-controlled switches.
The electrician knows that the time control switch must be connected to the right wire in the process of use, that is: the live wire L and the neutral line N must not be reversed, otherwise the electrical appliances or field equipment will still be charged even if the time control switch does not move, this must be noted, keep in mind a sentence: the time control switch fire control does not control zero!
Below are the livewire terminals and neutral terminals:
Some time-controlled switches T represent the N line, and the incoming and outgoing lines identify the incoming and outgoing wires of the live wire respectively, which should be distinguished! As shown below:
The neutral line of the time-controlled switch is straight-through, which is why the live wire and the neutral wire cannot be reversed!Let's briefly verify it through two methods:
First, the multimeter measurement method.
Multimeter description: The multimeter is turned to the diode or beep gear, the black watch pen is plugged into the com, and the red watch pen is plugged into the voltage resistance jack.
Let's measure the neutral N inlet terminal and N outlet terminal, or the T inlet terminal and T outlet terminal.
Measurement description: It can be seen that when the time-controlled switch does not act, the incoming N-line terminal and the outgoing N-terminal are connected, and some time-controlled switch N-line is represented by T on, and 2 T's are connected!
Second, directly disassemble the time control switch to see if the zero line is open!
The disassembly diagram of the time-controlled switch is as follows:
Pay attention to the black wire pointed by the electric pen, inside the time-controlled switch, the zero line is directly tripped, that is, the incoming terminal N and the outgoing terminal N are directly tripped through the short wire, which is why the N line has been on!
Summary: Time control switch: the principle of fire control is not zero control must be remembered, when wiring, the live wire and the zero line can not be reversed, the live wire and the zero line can not be reversed, the live wire and the zero line can not be reversed, the important thing is said three times, this is the wiring and use of the time control switch, if you have better suggestions and ideas, you can leave a message in the comment area below, communicate together, Xi learn from each other!
Here I recommend a book for zero-based Xi electricians, including a variety of physical wiring color pictures, hoping to help you better learn Xi electrician knowledge!
