On January 8, 2024, the sun was shining, and the test drive meeting of the big coffee in Kunming of "Love, Just 7" City Drive came to a successful conclusion. On the day of the event, we drove to the most beautiful Huanhu East Road in Kunming to experience the test drive of SAIC's **MAXUS G70 pure electric MPV, with a panoramic view of the lake and mountains all the way, as if we were in the embrace of nature. The road is winding and winding, and it's also a great route to test the car's performance.
As the flagship product of SAIC Maxus, the MAXUS G70 is equipped with a motor with a maximum power of up to 180kW and a 90kWh Rubik's Cube battery of SAIC Times, with a CLTC range of up to 605km.
The body length, width and height of SAIC MAXUS G70 are 4907 1885 1768mm and the wheelbase is 2975mm, which can provide class-leading rear seat space. In order to meet the needs of the family, the 2+1+3 matrix star rail six-seat layout, one-key automatic 180-degree seat rotation, equipped with nearly 2 meters of ultra-long slide rail, front and rear total travel of 980mm moving distance, to ensure the noble status of the co-pilot, but also increase the practicality.
The exterior design of SAIC MAXUS G70 is also beautiful, with CMS electronic exterior mirrors, cosmic star helmet front face, 18-inch low-drag wheels (with 225 55 R18 Continental tires), high-end hidden door handles, and through-type rear wing with high-mounted sports brake lights to bring the body a more stylish and sporty feeling.
My favorite is the CMS electronic exterior mirror, which increases the high-speed and steering vision by 28 times, the lens is equipped with automatic heating and water removal, and the area is reduced by 50% compared with the traditional rearview mirror, which is really convenient for female drivers.
Then there's the interior space and configuration. When you open the doors, the spacious and comfortable second and third rows of space are refreshing. The large central control spacing is not only conducive to luggage loading, but also the delicate material matching is like a mobile living room with a sense of technology. Nappa leather seats, first- and second-class seats, openable panoramic sunroof, JBL audio;At the same time, it is equipped with high-definition triple screen, Qualcomm 8155 chip, Zhixing car machine and other systems, which are all reassuring and comfortable in terms of safety configuration.
The test drive route from the 4S shop in the Economic Development Zone to Huanhu East Road, a unilateral trip of 50 minutes, as long as you step on the accelerator, this electric donkey is almost immediately stretched out of its limbs, strong and powerful acceleration performance makes the speed easily over 100, driving to 140km hours, the car condition is still very stable, and the excellent climbing power assist system is very practical and convenient for the use of mountain cities like Kunming. There is basically no noise in the car, the driving comfort performance is significantly better than that of traditional fuel vehicles, and there is no fatigue at all after driving for a long time, and the range of 600 kilometers can basically meet daily use.
