In the Asian family, there is one country that can be described as ill-fated: Palestine. The country is arguably the worst mixed in Asia, with more than half of its territory occupied by its neighbors, and even the capital has fallen.
The region of Palestine, the birthplace of the Jews, is a rich land that gave birth to an ancient civilization. It's a pity that this land is full of disasters and difficulties, and fate always seems to be incompatible with it. As early as the end of the 13th century, the Jews established their homeland here, but later large swaths of territory were annexed by Israel and its American allies. And that's not all, the suffering in Palestine continues. Due to the obstruction of countries such as Israel and the United States, Palestine has been unable to join the United Nations and has become a "stateless" country. It's really ridiculous, a country with a long history and culture can get mixed up to this point.
So the question arises, why is Israel encroaching on Palestinian territory? What does the international community think?Don't worry, let's talk slowly. It turned out that during World War II, Jews suffered from the German Nazis, which led to the return of a large number of Jews to the Palestinian areas. By the end of World War II, there were 600,000 Jewish residents. The Jews realized the importance of the state and began the Restoration Movement, which received more and more international support.
In this context, in 1947 the United Nations General Assembly adopted Resolution 181, which decided to divide the Palestinian areas into two countries - Israel and Palestine. The Arab countries, however, were not happy, believing it to be a betrayal of them. So, after the resolution was announced, they began to carry out violent attacks on Jewish civilians. On May 14, 1948, Israel declared its statehood, and the next day the Arab coalition invaded Israel, and the "First Middle East War" broke out. After 10 months of fierce fighting, the Arab coalition forces were defeated, and Israel occupied 4.5 percent of the Palestinian territory, more than 6,700 square kilometers more than the area provided for in the partition. Since then, the Palestinians have been fighting for decades.
The Palestinians first formed the Palestine Liberation Organization and the armed group Fatah, and then the resistance group Hamas. These groups are constantly attacking and resisting Israel in the hope of establishing their own state at an early date. After years of struggle and negotiations, Palestine finally declared a state in 1988 and established autonomy in the West Bank and Gaza. However, Israel does not want to return the occupied territories and prevent Palestine from becoming its "henchman", and resolutely refuses to recognize Palestine as an independent State. Moreover, Israel is also supported by its ally the United States, so until now Palestine has not been able to join the United Nations, becoming the most embarrassing country in the world.
What a tragedy!A country with a long history and culture has actually mixed up to this point. But then again, it's a wake-up call for other Asian countries. In this world, the law of the jungle still applies. Only by being strong can you gain a place on the international stage!
