Plastic becomes garbage in an instant

Now people's lives are inseparable from plastics, plastic bags, plastic boxes, plastic films, plastic bottles and so on.

How did all this plastic get to my house!To tell you the truth, I "invited" it!

There were so many ways they got into my house that I couldn't figure it out myself. And then what?

When they arrive at my house, no matter what shape it takes, they will instantly become the same thing, using the same name, "garbage"!

After the dry and wet garbage is separated, the dry garbage is basically waste plastic. Eventually, I put their plastic counterparts in a plastic bag and threw them in the trash with a wave of my hand.

The garbage is then transferred to the garbage incineration station and finally burned to the fire.

Most of the plastic products we use daily are made of polyethylene, so let's take polyethylene as an example and talk about how they are produced!

The 1205 drilling team of Wang Jinxi, the iron man of China's Daqing Oilfield, produced 97% of the oil 10 years ago is water, which has to be separated from oil and water, and then injected back into the ground. Now drilling to a depth of 3-5 kilometers is basically no oil, to drill to a depth of 6-7 kilometers, or even deeper, it is too difficult;

Oil extracted from the ground is transported hundreds or thousands of miles through long-distance pipelines, or transported to seaside docks for loading on ships and transporting oil to refineries

When the oil arrives at the refinery, it needs to be heated and distilled with the steam produced by burning coal and the low-value products produced in the process of burning petroleum refining, and most of the oil has to go through a processing, secondary processing, and tertiary processing to separate liquefied gas, gasoline, aviation kerosene, diesel, petroleum coke, etc., among which there is a light, saturated and straight-chain component called naphtha, and the naphtha is sent to the ethylene plant to produce ethylene

The ethylene plant heats this naphtha to 840 degrees, cracks to produce 50% ethylene + propylene (ethylene 33% + propylene 17%), cracks produce more than 10% methane burned as fuel, and the remaining 40% is low-value products;

The ethylene produced is stored in a storage tank at minus 40 degrees Celsius, gasified and sent to a polyethylene plant, which adds a catalyst to the reactor to polymerize the ethylene into a powdery solid, and then adds various additives to make them into round particles.

These pellets are sent by car or train to a plastic processing plant, where they are processed into plastic films, plastic bags, plastic bottles, plastic boxes, plastic baskets, and so on.

These plastic products have entered every place in our daily lives, and have come to every household through the ways we buy directly, or carry items, or carry items.

Almost all families, like me, turned them into "garbage" in an instant. I guess it's clear!There are 8 steps for oil to become garbage, which may come from land or sea, may come from China, but most of them come from the Middle East, Africa, or the Americas, and get these oils to China, after so many steps, they become polyethylene products into our homes, and in the process, they need to burn a large amount of coal and self-produced fuels, producing countless greenhouse gases carbon dioxide, emitting sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, Although the discharge of sewage meets the national standards, we should be clear that meeting the standards is not that there is no pollution, but that the pollution is still within the range that we can bear.

The 8th step, the last step, we easily and instantly turned polyethylene products into "garbage", think about it!

What should we do?Quite simply, it is to use less plastic things, which is good for the environment and society!
