2. Unlicensed vehicles, scooters, and balance bikes will be banned from the road from January 2024.

According to the relevant provisions of the "Jiangsu Provincial Road Traffic Safety Regulations", a fine of 50 yuan will be imposed on electric balance vehicles and scooters on the road, and it will be implemented from January 1, 2024, that is, such vehicles will be banned from the road from January 2024.

At the same time, many cities have made it clear that unlicensed vehicles are also prohibited from being on the road, and penalties will be imposed if unlicensed electric vehicles are found on the road.
