At present, it is a critical period of fire prevention and control in winter and spring, in order to improve the fire safety awareness and self-defense and self-rescue ability of teachers and students on campus in our county, popularize fire safety knowledge, and effectively build a solid campus fire safety barrier. Recently, more than 50 teachers and students from Maigaiti County Experimental Middle School visited the fire science education base in the county fire rescue brigade to carry out immersive visits and Xi to experience the fire culture.
Under the leadership of the propagandists, teachers and students walked into the vehicle equipment warehouse, firefighter dormitory, library, honor room and other places in an orderly manner, and visited and learned about various types of fire fighting vehicles, various types of fire fighting equipment and equipment. The propagandists introduced in detail the names, performance parameters, uses and methods of use of vehicle equipment, protective clothing and fire-fighting equipment, as well as the reform and changes of the fire brigade in recent years and the honors obtained. Looking at the dazzling array of fire-fighting equipment, the students raised various questions from time to time, and the propagandists patiently answered them one by one.
At the end of the tour, the students asked if they could see the firefighter training subjects. In order to satisfy the curiosity of teachers and students, several firefighters demonstrated the subject of climbing the rope to the 4th floor with their bare hands, and the skillful operation of firefighters allowed the students to have a deeper understanding of the training content and responsibilities of firefighters, which attracted continuous applause from teachers and students.
After the visit, Principal Long of the Experimental Middle School said: "In the eyes of the students, the fire brigade is very mysterious, and I brought them to visit the Xi today, on the one hand, to learn Xi fire knowledge, and on the other hand, to let the students understand the profession of 'firefighter', experience the difficulty of fire rescue personnel, and improve the awareness of fire safety precautions in daily work and life." ”
This fire science popularization visit activity allowed teachers and students to have a more comprehensive understanding of various fire equipment and fire safety knowledge in seeing, listening and touching, expanding the students' horizons, improving their safety awareness and self-protection ability, and letting the "seeds" of fire safety sprout in the hearts of students, laying a solid foundation for campus fire safety work.
