At the same time, the front and rear doors of the vehicle can be opened normally. In this regard, Liu Shi, a traffic safety expert and professor at Beijing Police College, analyzed that the Besturn B70 performed well in the rolling accident and could ensure the safety of drivers and passengers to the greatest extent.

Wang Jianxun, chief safety engineer of FAW Besturn, said that it is no accident that the Besturn B70 passed the rigorous challenge of extreme speed rolling.

**Besturn B70 adopts a 3H+ double E annular body structure, on the one hand, it absorbs collision energy through the design of bumper beams, energy-absorbing boxes, longitudinal beams, etc., and on the other hand, it makes the passenger compartment a 'golden bell jar' with super protection. Wang Jianxun said that the use of high-strength steel in this car is as high as 76%, the use of hot stamping steel accounts for 22%, and key areas such as ABC columns and thresholds are all made of hot stamping steel.

According to him, the tensile strength of the body material of the Besturn B70 is stronger than 1500MPa, and the maximum pressure per square centimeter can withstand 15 tons, which is equivalent to the area of a coin can bear the weight of about 3 elephants. In addition, the car is equipped with 6 airbags, pre-tensioned force-limiting seat belts, anti-diving seats, and crushing energy-absorbing steering columns, which further improve vehicle safety.

In terms of active safety, the Besturn B70 is equipped with L2+ intelligent driving assistance functions, as well as Bosch 9ESP body stability control version 3. The new car has a total of 14 active safety features to help the driver eliminate driving safety hazards as much as possible.

It is worth mentioning that it has been 17 years since the first generation of the Besturn B70 was released. As the model with the longest history of the independent brand B-class family sedan, the Besturn B70 obviously shoulders a heavy responsibility.
