At the same time, the automobile industry in Shanghai and Suzhou has also shown a vigorous momentum of development, especially in Suzhou Taicang and Kunshan area of the large number of auto parts manufacturers, for the entire Yangtze River Delta region of the automotive industry interconnection into the new impetus. With the support of transportation infrastructure, the industrial connectivity in the Yangtze River Delta region has been fully promoted. Not only that, ecological environmental protection has also become an important part of the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
Through the joint protection and management of cross-border rivers and lakes in Anhui and Zhejiang, as well as the practice of ecological compensation in the Xin'an River Basin, the Yangtze River Delta region has shown great concern for the ecological environment and effective governance. For example, through the establishment of the Eco-Beauty Supermarket and the implementation of a number of other ecological protection projects, the city of Huangshan in Anhui Province has successfully improved the water quality of the Xin'an River and achieved remarkable results. In addition, the Yangtze River Delta region has also actively promoted cross-border water control and river basin co-governance, formed a series of innovative explorations, and achieved remarkable results. According to the data, in 2022, the proportion of water bodies with excellent water quality in 594 surface water national examination sections in the Yangtze River Delta will reach 894%, and completely eliminate inferior sections. These achievements have benefited from the continuous promotion of innovative explorations such as the cross-basin ecological compensation mechanism and the joint river and lake long-term system in the Yangtze River Delta region.
