The 2024 New Year has arrived, and on behalf of the Global Cloud Network Broadband Industry Association (WBBA), we would like to extend our New Year's greetings to all of you and express our heartfelt thanks to you for your outstanding contributions and solidarity and cooperation in the past year
Looking back on the past year, we have faced unprecedented challenges and changes, but we have persevered in our struggle, steadfast, and achieved outstanding results. In 2023, the WBBA held high-end summits in Barcelona and Shanghai, and held the annual broadband development conference in Paris to work with all parties in the industry to share the opportunities, development trends and key measures for the high-quality development of the global cloud and broadband industry. We launched the Global Cloud Broadband Development Index and report at BDC in Paris, which provides important industry insights into infrastructure investment and technology development. As of the end of December 2023, the WBBA has grown to 69 members, an increase of 58 from the beginning of the year, covering 30 countries and regions on five continents, including 28 well-known operators and 9 leading merchants. Our brand has grown and our team has become stronger. All of this is thanks to the hard work and solidarity of everyone.
In 2024, we will adhere to the principle of "people-oriented, innovation-driven, and win-win cooperation". We will work closely together to promote the WBBA as an influential platform for international technical cooperation and exchange, introduce new members, and continue to expand the scale of the WBBA. We will continue to explore new business models and industrial growth potential, lead industrial development, strengthen technical cooperation and innovation, and promote the sustainable development of the cloud-network broadband industry."
