Chinese drones are sanctioned again? When will the troubles of the United States end!

Recently, the United States has once again imposed sanctions on Chinese drone manufacturers, this time targeting DJI. As a leader in China's drone industry, DJI has always been the No. 1 company in the global market. However, the U.S. sanctions against DJI have not stopped, trying to curb China's development in the field of drone technology.

The reason why the United States has imposed sanctions on Chinese drones is actually because of its own shortcomings in the manufacture of civilian drones. The market share of American companies in the civilian drone market is obviously inferior to DJI, and even last year, an Intel company directly sold its loss-making drone business. It can be seen that the United States is far behind China in the development of civilian UAVs.

To build a civilian-grade product as mature as a DJI drone, it's not as simple as piecing together a few parts. DJI needed not only an assembly plant and civil works, but also a well-developed water and electricity network**, as well as the participation of tens of thousands of workers and engineers. And these are precisely what the United States lacks.

As a country with a hollowed out industry, the United States is unable to mobilize millions of human resources and a huge industrial chain to support the manufacture of civilian drones like China. As a result, the United States has turned its attention to the crackdown on DJI, which has sanctioned China, in an attempt to cover up its own shortcomings in the drone industry.

It is undeniable that DJI has made a huge breakthrough in drone technology, with more than 2,000 technology patents and more than 80% of the global market. However, the U.S. sanctions did not have a substantial impact on DJI, but instead caused losses to both China and the United States.

Sanctions can only exacerbate international tensions and hinder the exchange of technology and cooperation. Only through cooperation and exchanges can we achieve the common improvement of technology and promote the development of the UAV industry. Blindly suppressing restrictions will only hurt both countries, and in the long run, it is not in the interests of either side.

In the face of the current situation of global scientific and technological competition, international cooperation has become more urgent and important. All countries should abandon unilateralism and protectionist thinking, strengthen communication and exchanges, and jointly promote the development of science and technology.

For China, it should continue to adhere to the path of independent technological innovation, strengthen the development of the domestic science and technology industry, and improve its core competitiveness. At the same time, it is also necessary to strengthen cooperation with other countries, share experience and resources, and jointly promote the prosperity of the drone industry.

The continued U.S. sanctions on China's DJI drone manufacturers do not effectively solve their own problems, but further highlight the technological shortcomings of the U.S. drone industry. Sanctions only exacerbate tensions and hinder the development of international scientific and technological cooperation. We should jointly promote the development of the UAV industry and achieve a win-win situation in science and technology by strengthening cooperation and exchanges. China's UAV industry should adhere to independent technological innovation, strengthen the construction of the domestic industrial chain, improve core competitiveness, and strive for a larger share of the global UAV market. At the same time, it is also necessary to strengthen cooperation with other countries to jointly build an ecosystem for the global drone industry.
