Recently, I participated in the BYD full-scene efficient charging technology communication meeting, and had an in-depth understanding of the panoramic development and technical reserves of BYD's charging technology.

If the development of the electric vehicle industry is like an eagle soaring, then charging technology is the feathers of this eagle. As a leader in the industry, BYD has not only pursued excellence in automobile manufacturing, but also innovated and made breakthroughs in charging technology.

In 2015, when the electric vehicle market was still carrying out the 400V voltage standard, BYD had taken a step ahead and opened the prelude to the 800V high-voltage platform. This technological leap not only sets a new standard for charging in the electric vehicle industry, but also significantly increases the charging speed, making long-distance travel no longer a problem. However, BYD's innovation is not without its challenges, as the charging infrastructure on the market has not been upgraded accordingly, and the 800V high-voltage technology has faced compatibility issues.

In the domestic market, the output current of most charging piles has not yet reached the ideal standard, in order to make full use of these existing resources, BYD creatively proposed and applied the dual-gun overcharging technology. With this technology, even charging stations with low current can deliver more power to electric vehicles in a short period of time, which is especially important in emergency situations.

Charging speed is important, but charging safety and stability cannot be ignored either. BYD is well aware of this, so it has developed a composite direct cooling technology, which ensures the stability of the battery temperature during the fast charging process, greatly improves safety, and makes the charging process fast and stable.

In view of the cold natural conditions in the northern winter, the low temperature environment has a significant negative impact on the charging and discharging efficiency of the battery. In order to deal with this problem, BYD has launched a full-scene intelligent pulse self-heating technology that can maintain the best working condition of the battery even in a cold environment, so as to ensure that the charging efficiency is not affected.

The overall feeling to me is this, BYD does not blindly do those seemingly tall but detached from the actual innovation of users, but combined with the user's actual car Xi and regional characteristics to determine the direction of subsequent technological breakthroughs, which I think is the best experience, because it can effectively meet the needs of car owners. That is to say, BYD's innovation and breakthrough in charging technology is not only reflected in promoting the improvement of the entire industry standard, but also in solving practical problems and improving user experience.
