She has been engaged in education for 31 years, whether she is teaching and educating people on the front line or serving as a teaching and research staff, she has set an example, been a builder and guide of the school curriculum, and led the high-quality development of primary and secondary schools with high-quality courses.
Planning: Strengthening school curriculum leadership

These teaching and research models are derived from the accumulation of Liu Cuihong's 20 years of teaching and research work. Since serving as a faculty member, Liu Cuihong has attached great importance to the development of school-based curriculum with school characteristics, and has led the construction of five curriculum development models: plate combination, target radiation, online learning, theme activities and diversified and comprehensive. The "Guiding Opinions on the Construction and Management of School-based Curriculum in Primary and Secondary Schools in Changsha" developed by her pointed out the direction for the school-based curriculum construction of schools in the new era. At present, the development of school-based curriculum in Changsha has been gradually improved and standardized, and it is at the forefront of the country.
Teachers carry the future on their shoulders, and the glory of teaching and research staff is not a momentary light, but a long-burning flame that lights up the journey of teachers' growth. Speaking of the mission and responsibility of teaching and researchers, Liu Cuihong was deeply touched. To this end, she often works overtime to provide professional services to teachers. For rural schools and disadvantaged schools, we need to build more development platforms for them, so as to activate the endogenous motivation of teachers in disadvantaged schools. Taking this as the goal of teaching and research, Liu Cuihong guides and leads schools, especially rural schools and weak schools, to actively carry out targeted research.

Hanhui Primary School in Kaifu District is located in Hanhui Village, Laodaohe Town, and is the only minority school in Changsha City. The school's teachers are structurally short of staff, and the school-based curriculum of "Hui Customs" is difficult to implement due to the lack of material resources. She designed a catalogue and prepared a sample for the Hui Customs-based Curriculum Resource Kit for Hanhui Primary School, and guided the school to establish a one-on-one teacher collaboration development team with its counterpart school, Qingshuitang Primary School. After the development of the student textbook, she guided the teachers to revise, improve and finalize it lesson by lesson, so that the course has been continued and implemented for more than 10 years and has become a landmark course of the school.
With the expansion of the city, the number of students in the century-old school in the former glorious city center has decreased year by year, and it has become a small school with less than 12 classes. There are fewer teachers and more classes, which leads to the problem that it is not easy to open the curriculum well and become more and more prominent. After learning about this situation, Liu Cuihong took the lead in setting up the Urban Small-scale School Curriculum Construction Alliance, led the first batch of 13 schools such as Xiuye School and Tongpu Street Primary School to carry out special diagnosis, and put forward a series of countermeasures to solve problems from many aspects such as teacher visits, teacher allocation, curriculum integration, small-class teaching, evaluation and incentives, etc., so as to stimulate the development vitality of small-scale schools.
