On the hill of Dazhai, there are two vice premiers, why did they choose here

Hutou Mountain in Dazhai Village, Xiyang County, Shanxi Province, was originally a little-known hill, but it has emerged because of the burial of two vice premiers of the People's Republic of China, and has become a holy place for countless people to worship.

These two vice premiers are the symbolic figures of Dazhai and the cultural champion Guo Moruo of New China. Because of the long resting of these two great figures, Hutou Mountain attracts countless tourists to come to pay their respects.

** is a native of Dazhai, leading the people of Dazhai through countless hardships and creating miracles. His outstanding performance attracted the attention of ***, who unusually promoted him to become deputy prime minister. Therefore, it is natural for ** to return to Dazhai for burial after his death.

However, Guo Moruo, who has no direct connection with Dazhai, why did he choose to sleep in Dazhai?

In fact, it is inaccurate to say that Guo Moruo has nothing to do with Dazhai. As early as 1965, when the craze of the national academic Xi Dazhai swept the country, Guo Moruo, who was the president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences at that time, personally led a team of scientists to Dazhai to investigate the Xi. He also wrote a poem "Ode to Dazhai" with passion

The whole country learns from Dazhai, and Dazhai influences the whole country.

Thousands of miles here, happy to forge ahead together.

The wolf's den turned into fertile land, and the fierce year became ripe.

The red flag is red all over the sky.

It can be seen that Guo Moruo has a deep love for Dazhai, and he is full of respect for the hard work of the people of Dazhai.

However, before Guo Moruo died, he did not consider burying himself in Dazhai. Instead, he told his children that he wished he could rest in peace at the Babaoshan Cemetery in Beijing, which was a very reasonable choice at the time, given his outstanding revolutionary contributions and noble status.

So, why did Guo Moruo not choose Babaoshan in the end, but was buried in Dazhai? This involves several of his marital experiences.

Guo Moruo's first marriage was arranged by his family, and he was not satisfied, and ran away from home only five days after marriage, leaving his wife alone and widowed for the rest of his life.

The second marriage was with a Japanese woman, Tomiko Sato, who met and became husband and wife in Japan in 1916. Although Guo Anna is Japanese, she is deeply indignant at the actions of the Japanese fascists and full of sympathy for the Chinese. The fascist authorities tried to force Guo Anna to sever ties with Guo Moruo, but she firmly refused.

However, to Guo Anna's surprise, Guo Moruo betrayed her and developed a relationship with Yu Lichen, a young Chinese woman studying in Japan. However, due to Guo Moruo's behavior, Yu Lichen was deeply disappointed in him and hanged himself in 1937, leaving behind a thought-provoking last words: "Such a country, such a society, and such a self, there is nothing they can do." ”

In 1937, Guo Moruo returned to China to participate in the all-out anti-Japanese war, and also met his third wife during this time. This wife is Yu Lichen's sister Yu Liqun. Perhaps out of guilt for Lichen, Guo Moruo began to take care of Yu Liqun wholeheartedly after learning of her identity. Although Yu Liqun did not know that Guo Moruo had a family at first, he had no resistance to this talented man, and was soon captured by him, and the two married in 1938.

At that time, ** also attended Guo Moruo's wedding, and said to him with deep meaning: "I hope this is your last marriage." ”

Perhaps it was ***'s words that had an impact, and since then, Guo Moruo has not had any other marital relationships. Yu Liqun also sacrificed his career for Guo Moruo, became his loyal partner, and had six children together.

However, after the founding of the People's Republic of China, the relationship between the two began to crack, especially in the special era, Guo Moruo was impacted. His son, Guo Shiying**, and endured cruel torture.

Yu Liqun felt very anxious and asked Guo Moruo to write a letter to *** for help. However, due to unknown reasons, Guo Moruo has not taken action. In the end, Guo Shiying died under torture, and his other son, Guo Minying, also chose to commit suicide, which brought a heavy blow to Yu Liqun.

Yu Liqun, who was already mentally ill, became more ill after all this happened, and vented all his anger on Guo Moruo, believing that he killed his two sons.

In 1978, Guo Moruo entered the final stage of his life and told his wife and children that he would be buried in Babaoshan in Beijing after his death. However, Yu Liqun strongly objected and said loudly: "Don't trouble the party!."Under Guo Moruo's anger, she insisted: "After I die, don't leave the ashes, sprinkle them all in Dazhai and fertile fields!."”

This may just be Guo Moruo's angry words for a while, but Yu Liqun really executed it.

On June 20, 1978, a plane circled over Hutou Mountain in Dazhai, and Yu Liqun sprinkled Guo Moruo's ashes from the porthole of the plane onto the land of Dazhai.

On February 25, 1979, Yu Liqun hanged herself at home, just like her sister. Perhaps, she failed to forgive Guo Moruo at the end of her life.
