The 45th technical field is communication transmission system, which mainly includes wired transmission system, near-field transmission system, radio transmission system, and electromagnetic wave transmission system. In 2022, the European Patent Office granted a total of 1,531 patents in this field (with a growth rate of -29%), accounting for 19%, which is the 32nd largest number of patents in the field.
In 2022, the United States obtained 450 patents in this field, accounting for 29% of the total number of patents granted in this field. China has made 221 patented inventions in this field, obtained 224 patents, and lost 3 patented inventions. The number of patents granted in Japan and Germany is 177 and 98, respectively.
