Once a person has a dream, he has an "ambition".

When I was in junior high school, I had a Chinese teacher named Xue Derong, and he often read my essays aloud as model essays in the class. That winter, there was a snowfall, and Mr. Xue came up with an essay title "Snow". After a little thought, I wrote two or three pages. A classmate in the front row wanted to copy my essay when he saw that I had written so long, but he didn't dare to copy it all, so he only copied a large part of it. When Mr. Xue corrected the essay, he immediately discovered this problem and severely criticized the two of us in class. Later, my essay was not only read aloud by Mr. Xue as a model essay in the class, but also posted in the essay garden column at the back of the classroom.

The math teacher was bored with me because my math scores were always lagging the class behind in the school examinations. "What's the use of just writing a good essay, you have to be good at all subjects. "My math teacher used to say that about me. Fortunately, I never took math seriously, and I didn't love math classes at all. As a result, I was denied access to college. Worked for decades, and the first degree on the resume is high school.

Can you write such a good high school graduation essay? Can so many articles be published in the national, provincial and municipal newspapers and periodicals of "People**" Shanxi**?"There are quite a few people who question how my article was written and whether there is plagiarism. "I can not succeed, but I can't help but try. "I remember a neighbor in the village once said to me: he can publish books, and I walk upside down!Later, when I presented a few of my published books to the villager, he was embarrassed to say, "It's not easy!"”

When I was in high school, my dream was to be a journalist and a writer. In the years after I joined the workforce, I often struggled for this dream of mine. Lying on the bed in the dormitory, on the edge of the kang at home, on the small table for eating, in the corner of the workshop, and even in the moonlight at night, write a diary, write **, and write whatever you remember. At that time, there was no computer typing, so after an article was written, it was copied neatly on carbon paper, and a copy of the manuscript was kept for myself and sent to the editorial department. The editors are very dedicated, and every manuscript must be rewritten, and it is written word by word with a pen. I remember that the longest article I wrote** (I forgot the title) has more than 40 pages of manuscript paper, which is about 10,000 words. I sent it to a magazine in Northeast China, and after reading it, an editor replied to me with more than two pages, pointing out the problems and shortcomings, and affirming the paragraphs and writing style. I kept this reply letter for many years, but I lost it because I moved several times. Although this ** was not adopted, it gave me the courage and confidence to keep writing.

In the early 80s of the last century, I was about 20 years old, and I was in the prime of life. In that era of national literature craze, in order to give many young people across the country who have not been admitted to universities a chance to further their studies, Shanxi Province has set up a special university. It has no threshold, no classrooms, no walls, no matter how old or young, as long as you sign up, you can enter the university--- which is the first unique university in the country founded by the "Shanxi Youth" magazine. On the one hand, I signed up for a university to improve myself, and on the other hand, I also wanted to catch up with the trend. I remember that there was a trade union chairman named Wang Yincai in the factory, who was a factory-level cadre who loved to learn and Xi. There is also a worker named Lu Honglong, who is about the same age as me and is also a person who loves writing. At that time, my monthly salary was more than 20 yuan, except for most of the money given to my parents and a little living expenses, I bought books and subscribed to magazines. I remember that there are "Haiyan", "Youth", "Shanxi Literature", etc., especially the two magazines "**Monthly" and "**Selected Magazines", I have been subscribing for more than 20 years, and I still have a lot of ** publications of the 10s in my bookcase.

My favorite place to go was the library. Many times, as long as I don't go to work, I ride my bicycle to the library in the Jiwang Temple in the county seat to read books. The more I read, the more energetic I am to write. As much as I love to write, I do so many times. Why?Afraid of other people's jokes. Because many people are not optimistic about my writing, thinking that writing cannot become a climate, thinking that if I write again, I will still be a worker, and I can really become a journalist and a writerthinks that it is "leper ** wants to eat swan meat." Sometimes, even though I knew that I couldn't publish it, I kept writing, insisting on writing everything I saw and heard every day in my notebook, and kept several copies in my diary.

Hard work pays off. In June 1985, my first short story ** "Silent Night" was finally published in the "Jujube Flower" magazine sponsored by the county cultural center (this may be my fate with "Jujube Flower"), when I was 23 years old. The editor-in-chief of the magazine at the time was Xiao Linsheng, a kind and talented teacher who is now a well-known screenwriter and producer working in Beijing. After the presentation, he gave me a lot of encouragement and recommended me to participate in the county congress. On May 18, 1989, my first press release "Iron Abacus - Ji Wei" was published in Shanxi**On March 20, 1990, my first small ** "Election" was published in the then "Shanxi ** Rural Edition", which is now "Shanxi Peasant Daily". Immediately afterwards, the reportage "The Time to Celebrate" co-authored with Mr. Xiao Linsheng was published in "Shanxi**" on March 24, 1990

With my hobbies and strength, and with a large number of articles published in provincial and municipal newspapers and periodicals, in August 1995, I was favored by the county leaders at that time and was transferred from the enterprise to the county ** office to engage in secretarial work. In this county-wide large enterprise with more than 1,000 people, I really became the "number one news" that year. A farmer's son, who has nothing to do with it, is jumping into the dragon gate with many published articles. Envious, jealous, and everything, but no matter what happened, I finally achieved a gorgeous turn.

To achieve a gorgeous turnaround, I would first like to thank a few teachers I knew when I was seconded to work in Shanxi ** Society: Weng Xiaomian, Zhang Jun, Gui Xiaochun, Zheng Fengqi, Zhou Tongxin and others, who took the trouble to guide me and help me, so that I could continue to improve and make great progress on the road of writing. I remember that it was 1993, with the consent of the factory leaders, I studied Xi in the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Shanxi Province for more than half a year. I have written all the interviews from Datong to Yuncheng, from Shanxi to Henan, from factories and mines to party and government organs, from the leaders of the provincial party committee to ordinary people, thus laying the foundation for my writing.

From the 80s of the last century to 2008, I published news, photography, and prose in newspapers and magazines all over the country, reaching millions of words, and there were twenty or thirty awards of various awards. In 2000, I published a 300,000-word collection of works, "Picking the Stars". Weng Xiaomian, then executive deputy editor-in-chief of Shanxi **, president and editor-in-chief of Shanxi Evening News, personally wrote a preface to my book, and more than 2,000 copies were printed and all sold out. Two years later, I was given the title of "Intermediate Journalist".

In May 2008, I was transferred from the post of vice president of Jishan Daily to the Federation of Literary and Art Circles, where I became the chairman of the Federation and began to engage in leadership work.

To tell the truth, the post of chairman of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles is not a leader at all, at best he is just a cadre. And I have never regarded myself as a leader, I know the weight of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles in society, I know my own weight, and I know what I do to "eat". I just have to do what I love and do what I can.

In the post of chairman of the Federation of Literary and Art Circles, I have worked for 12 years, which is not only unprecedented in the county, but also in the province. During this period, I gave full play to my strengths, first of all, I set up a literary newspaper "Zaohua" newspaper, which provided a garden for people who love writing in the county to publish their works, and then held many county-wide and even national competitions such as essays, calligraphy and painting, and photographyThe Federation of Literary and Art Circles has planned and held the "New Year" Gala for two consecutive timesThe first and second "Top Ten Artists of Jishan County" were selected and they were solemnly commendedHe has edited and published more than 20 books such as "Xiangyin and Nostalgia", "Walking Jishan", "Vicissitudes of Jishan" and "Zaoxiang Zaoxiang", joined the Shanxi Writers Association, and attended the provincial first.

The Sixth and Seventh Writers' Congress, etc.

In 2019, I stepped back from my job at the Federation of Literary and Art Circles. In addition to continuing to run the "Zaohua" newspaper, I also wrote a large number of articles, especially after the three-year epidemic and the catastrophic flood that Jishan County has not encountered in 60 years, I went to the front line in time and wrote a large number of articles. The prose "The Way Home", the reportage "The Party Flag on the Banks of the Fen River", and "The Wedding is About to Be Held" have been published in provincial and municipal newspapers and periodicals such as "Shanxi**", "Shanxi Farmer's Daily", "Yuncheng**", and "Hedong Literature". In 2021, the reporters of "Life Morning News" and "Yuncheng Evening News" conducted an exclusive interview with me, and wrote interviews with "The Legend of Jujube Flowers in the Literary World, Yongjishan Culture in Poetry, Calligraphy and Painting" and "Zheng Tianhu: Dream Chaser on the Road of Literature", which were ......successively published in provincial and municipal newspapersAt present, my third collection of personal works, A Place with a Story, is being published, and the famous writer and chairman of the Shanxi Writers Association Li Junhu has written a preface.

Now, although I am about to retire, I have a fulfilling life. Write **, write essays, write news reports;Tik Tok, learn to dance, and travel from time to time. From a high school graduate, to a journalist and a writer, I have no regrets; From an enterprise worker to a leading cadre, I am content. Our generation has suffered too much: they have lit kerosene lamps, watched black-and-white television, earned jobs, and participated in collective labor ......But there is joy in our suffering, and there is sweetness in our suffering, and our past experience has become a precious treasure in our lives.

We need to make persistent efforts to retreat;Lao Ji is still strong. One can not succeed, but one cannot fail to work hard. We are all dreamers, and we have been persevering in the field we love, and we will not forget our original intention to live a better life!
