Lu XiaohuAnhui Hefei NewsOn August 10, 2023, the large-scale sculpture "Wilderness" was unveiled at Hechai 1972 Cultural and Creative Park Hefei Museum of Contemporary Art.
The sculpture "Wilderness" was designed by the famous sculptor Xu Xiaohong in 1999, and was invited to Denmark on behalf of Hefei and Asia to participate in the 2000 Aalborg International Art Festival for on-site sculpture works, the International Art Festival Organizing Committee gave high praise to the sculpture "Wilderness", and the works were collected by the Aalborg Art Museum in Denmark. In 2022, the sculpture "Wilderness" was selected by Hechai 1972 Cultural and Creative Park Hefei Museum of Contemporary Art6 meters, 7 meters wide, 16-meter bronze sculpture.

Xu Xiaohong is currently a member of the Chinese Artists Association, a national first-class artist, a member of the Art Committee of the National Urban Sculpture Construction Steering Committee, an executive director of the China Urban Sculptors Association, a director of the China Sculpture Society, and a vice chairman of the 5th and 6th Anhui Artists Association. 
Xu Xiaohong has created two sets of large-scale relief murals for the Great Hall of the People in Beijing twice, twice went abroad to serve as the chief designer of the sculpture of the Mozambican National Building and the Mozambique National Stadium, has created a total of six groups of large-scale exotic sculptures and relief murals, and has created two groups of large-scale relief murals and group sculptures for the main entrance of the Beijing Chinese Medical Museum and the Jincang Wenhua Plaza on Nanjing Road in Shanghai, and more than ten works have been selected for national and international professional art exhibitions and won many awards.
