Jiyuan Municipal Education and Sports Bureau responded: In September 2021, the Yellow River Institute of Science and Technology submitted an application to the Henan Provincial Department of Education to independently convert the School of Applied Technology of the Yellow River Institute of Science and Technology under it into Jiyuan Institute of Science and Technology. On December 2, 2022, the Henan Provincial Department of Education officially agreed to include the project in the "14th Five-Year Plan for the Establishment of Colleges and Universities in Henan Province". The Education and Sports Bureau of the demonstration area has actively carried out its work according to the six assessment indicators of the Ministry of Education's "Basic Conditions for Running Schools in Ordinary Colleges and Universities" (Jiao Fa [2004] No. 2), and has completed five indicators. In the next step, the Education and Sports Bureau of the demonstration zone will make every effort to promote infrastructure construction in order to meet the requirements of the project transfer.
