In the Irkutsk region, the Segezha Group procured Chinese log transporters for the local branch. In December, six more log transporters (AMT NV-632920) with 480 hp engines arrived from China at the region's largest timber processing enterprise. This is already the second batch of forestry machinery from China;The first batch of 10 arrived in February 2023. As an alternative to the vehicles of European and American companies, special cargo equipment purchased from China has already proven its capabilities in operation, including in the harsh conditions of the Siberian winter.

All received equipment is equipped with a triple trailer that increases the volume from 75 to 95 cubic meters per transport. In 2023, the company purchased a total of 16 such vehicles for the transportation of timber. We plan to further expand our truck fleet. It is estimated that the area of logging by the enterprise in the Irkutsk region is about 3.8 million cubic meters. The plant has a cutting capacity of 1.4 million cubic meters and a timber production of 650,000 cubic meters per year. The company specializes in the production of high-quality products from Angara pine and Siberian larch;Up to 100,000 tonnes of transport timber and related sheet products as well as fuel pellets are produced annually.
