The world-famous Kansai Falls
- Laos Travelogue No. 3
Written by Zhang Chongfa
On the afternoon of November 24th, we visited the world-famous Daguanxi Waterfall in Laos. This waterfall is located in a primeval forest in Luang Prabang.
After climbing a section of the hillside, we saw the dense primeval forest, tall and straight trees, covering the sky and the sun, the cool air in the forest hit people, the air was wafting with the fragrance of flowers, it was a natural oxygen bar, and it was very refreshing to walk in the forest.
There are many simple sheds in the forest, which are considered bars and cafes run by Laotians.
European and American tourists are wearing swimsuits and drinking beer in twos and threes. We went straight to the waterfall.
Walking to the waterfall, we found that the Kansai Waterfall is not like the Huangguoshu Waterfall in China, it flows down step by step along the cliff level, and then forms a natural pool.
This pool, some people call it "infinity pool", when the water rises, the pool expands, and when the current is smaller, the pool becomes smaller.
At the top of the waterfall, there is also a naturally formed "infinity pool" that we can't see.
As a result, Kansai Falls is known as the "Devil's Pool" on a par with Victoria Falls.
Since there is a pool, you can swim. European and American tourists, male and female, are all playing in the water.
Those who can dive will use the branches that have grown on the cliff next to the waterfall for many years and have very strong trunks as a diving platform, and jump into the "infinite pool" formed by the waterfall to play in the water.
The color of the pool water is comparable to the variety of Jiuzhaigou!
It is beautiful to dive in the beauty of nature and take a few photos. A few people are jumping, and most people are taking photos of diving. Due to jumping, taking off, and falling into the water, a complete set of actions can be completed in an instant, and it is difficult to capture success. I chose a position, the camera was aimed at the diver, and when they jumped, I pressed the shutter either fast or slow, and I snapped the shot many times, but I didn't succeed once.
Xiao Wang, the leader of our tour group, and a 76-year-old brother really had two shots, and each of them captured them.
Here, borrow Xiao Wang's ** to open the eyes of friends.
The water of the waterfall, which flows into a small river, runs through the forest.
Under the guidance of the guide, we walked along the small river from the pool to the exit of the scenic spot.
There I suddenly found a very beautiful flower, but I couldn't name it. The tour guide Ah Kun said: "It is called the rich red scorpion tail banana, the banana of the plantain." "Yes, its leaves are very similar to plantain leaves.
My discovery was ecstatic for the female members who like flowers, and they stopped one after another to take pictures and take a group photo.
Speaking of flowers, put 3 more **, guess what it's called? Write your answer to the comment column.
