1.Characteristics and uses
Hasteloy G-30 is a nickel-based alloy with a high chromium content that provides superior corrosion resistance than most other nickel- and iron-based alloys, and is particularly suitable for use in mixed environments of commercial phosphoric acid and many highly oxidizing acid media, such as nitric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitrate, hydrofluoric acid, and sulfuric acid. Hasteloy G-30 alloy prevents the formation of grain boundary precipitation in the weld heat-affected zone, making it ideal for a wide range of chemical processing applications. Yishang Industry specializes in providing you with high-quality alloys. Hastelloy
Hasteloy G-30 alloy is one of the few grades with a chromium content greater than 30% in nickel-iron-chromium-molybdenum-copper alloys, and has strong corrosion resistance in solutions such as H2SO4 and HNO3 due to the composite action of the components. The alloy's good sensitization resistance allows it to be applied directly after welding in chemical processing.

5.Corrosion resistance of four alloys in industrial phosphoric acid
6.Corrosion resistance of the three alloys in different acids
7.Corrosion resistance of nine alloys in different acids
As can be seen from Table 1, Hastelloy G-30 has good corrosion resistance in phosphoric acid, usually with a corrosion rate of 0025~2.50 mm A, which is 2 4 times more resistant to corrosion than Hastelloy G-3 or Inconel 625 (up to 10 times). In 1987, the 316L, NO8020 stainless steel and Hastelloy G-30 welded specimens, in 53Corrosion in 3% POS phosphoric acid for 28 days, temperature selection and 132 comparative test, the results show that only Hastelloy G-30 has sufficient corrosion resistance in 132 phosphoric acid and is recommended. Hastelloy G-30 not only has good corrosion resistance in phosphoric acid, but also has better corrosion resistance than Hastelloy G-3 or Inconel 625 alloys in many other acidic media (e.g., sulfuric acid, nitric acid, formic acid) (see Table 2). As can be seen from Table 3, Hastelloy G-30 also has high corrosion resistance in mixed acidic media in different environments compared to many stainless steels. In mixtures of sulfuric acid and nitric acid, sulfuric acid and iron sulfate, the corrosion rate of Hastelloy G-30 and SAN28 alloys with high chromium content is very low.
