On December 14, one of the city's key projects, the Beita Road construction project, is currently basically installed in place, and the main road has been successfully opened to traffic. 
The reporter saw on Beita Road that the whole section of the road was paved with asphalt pavement and marked with traffic markings, and passing vehicles passed in an orderly manner. The construction personnel are carrying out the construction of ancillary projects such as integrated pipelines and sidewalks in an orderly manner. 
Hearing that Beita Road is open to traffic, Xiao He, a citizen who came to visit for a walk, said: "To go to Shaoyang West Expressway only Xihu North Road can go, often traffic jams during the rush hour, now after the opening of Beita Road, there will be no traffic jams to this side, much faster, the road is smooth and wide, we travel very conveniently." It is understood that Beita Road is a key section of the city's "four roads and one bridge", a livelihood project in response to people's livelihood concerns, and an important project in the city's "strong central urban area" strategy. 
The road project of Beita Road starts from Zijiang North Road and ends at Zhongshan Road, with a total length of 41 km, 42 meters wide, two-way six-lane, is the north-south urban arterial road in Beita District, with a design speed of 40km/h. The main line of Beita Road was officially opened to traffic in mid-December, which basically solved the problems of transit traffic at the north gate of the city, effectively alleviated the current situation of road traffic congestion in the urban area during holidays and peak periods, accelerated the connection between Beita District and Xinshao County, and helped the city's comprehensive economic and social development.
