Recently, the second batch of 27 cities of Xpeng City Navigation Assisted Driving was officially opened, and Xpeng's G6, G9 and P7i vehicles were upgraded with XMART OS 45.0 OTAs are upgraded synchronously.
The 27 new cities include Tianjin, Chengdu, Xi'an, Wuhan, Changsha, Xiamen, Fuzhou, Quanzhou, Jinjiang and so on. As of December, as many as 52 cities in China have supported Xpeng's urban navigation assisted driving function.
In this OTA upgrade, in addition to covering a wider range of cities, the experience of urban navigation assisted driving without high-precision maps in multiple scenarios including highways and urban roads has been improved again.
In the upgraded vehicle environment simulation display SR function, the recognition accuracy of vehicles such as bicycles is stronger. At the same time, Xpeng G9 has added a new scene trigger condition function.
In addition, after OTA, the car-machine interconnection function has also been upgraded: the lock screen widget of the Apple mobile phone has been added.
After Xpeng users have upgraded their OTAs, they have naturally improved the safety and convenience of travel. In terms of market performance, the Xpeng G6 can be described as the brand's sales leader, with a total of 8,750 units sold in November 2023.
