The high efficiency area of the pump refers to the area where the working pump operates under the designed working conditions, that is, the suction head, head, voltage, motor speed, and liquid pumped during the design of the pump are in line with the design parameters of the pump manufacturer, or within its design range. At this time, the pump is working in the high-efficiency zone. Therefore, the following points should be paid attention to when installing a water pump:
1) The installation position of the water pump should meet the requirements of the allowable vacuum height. The foundation must be flat and stable to ensure that the rotation direction of the power machine is consistent with the rotation direction of the water pump.
2) When the water pump and the power machine are connected through the shaft, the shaft should be ensured to be on the same straight line to prevent the vibration and unilateral wear of the bearing during the operation of the unit.
3) If belt drive is used, the axis should be parallel to each other, and the pulley should be aligned.
4) If there are multiple units in the same machine room, the distance between the units and between the units and the wall should be greater than 800mm.
5) The suction pipe of the water pump must be well sealed, and the elbow and gate valve must be minimized. When filling and diverting water, the air should be exhausted. Air should not accumulate in the ducts during operation. It is required that the suction pipe is slightly upwards and mitered to the inlet of the water pump. There should be a certain depth of submersion.
6) The reserved holes on the foundation of the pump should be poured according to the size of the pump.
