Chengziyi high-speed railway is an important connection line and extension line of China's high-speed railway network in southwest China. After the opening of the Chongqing-Kunming high-speed railway, it will further improve the national comprehensive three-dimensional transportation network, strengthen the connection between the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and the central Yunnan region, greatly reduce the railway travel time between Chongqing, Chengdu and Kunming, and promote high-quality economic and social development along the line.

The Shantou-Shantou South to Shanwei section of the Shantou-Shantou high-speed railway passes through the coastal areas of high salt and high humidity, and the hydrogeological environment is complex and the construction is difficult. Since the start of construction, the railway department has organized all participating units and the majority of builders to promote the construction of the project in a scientific and orderly manner, and completed key projects such as the Aojiang Bridge and the Huilai Tunnel to ensure that the project was opened as scheduled.

The Shantou South to Shanwei section of the Shantou high-speed railway operates at a maximum speed of 350 kilometers per hour. At the initial stage of operation, the railway department will arrange passenger trains according to daily lines, weekend lines and peak lines, and the maximum number of locomotive trains will be 24 per day.

The opening and operation of the Shantou South to Shanwei section of the Shantou high-speed railway is of great significance for strengthening the connection between Shantou and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, facilitating the travel of the people along the line, and promoting the coordinated development of regional economy and society.

Longlong high-speed railway Longyan to Wuping section.

On December 26, with the D9958 train departing from Longyan Station, the Longyan to Wuping section of the Longlong high-speed railway, which connects Longyan in Fujian and Longchuan in Guangdong, was put into operation.

Longlong high-speed railway starts from Longyan Station, Longyan City, Fujian Province, and ends at Longchuan West Station, Heyuan City, Guangdong Province, with a total length of 290 kilometers, according to the construction of three sections from Longyan to Wuping, Wuping to Meizhou, and Meizhou to Longchuan West. The Longyan to Wuping section opened this time, the total length of the line is 92 kilometers, including 64 kilometers of new lines, the design speed of 250 kilometers per hour, and 4 stations of Longyan, Gutian meeting site, Shanghang and Wuping.

The maximum speed of the Longyan to Wuping section of the Longlong high-speed railway is 250 kilometers per hour. At the beginning of operation, the railway department will arrange to run up to 6 trains per day, and Wuping Station to Longyan Station can be reached in 45 minutes at the earliest, and the train operation plan will be further optimized and improved according to the demand for passenger flow.

The new line from Longyan to Wuping section of Longlong high-speed railway is 64 kilometers, with complex geological conditions along the way, and the ratio of bridges and tunnels exceeds eighty. In more than four years of construction, the builders have opened 23 tunnels and built 40 bridges. With the first train passing through tunnels and bridges and arriving at Wuping Station, Wuping County, Fujian Province ended its history of not being connected to the railway, and people have a new choice for travel.

After the Longyan-Wuping section of the Longlong high-speed railway is put into operation, it will further improve the railway network structure in western Fujian, which is of great significance for facilitating the travel of the people along the line, driving the development of tourism resources, and promoting the high-quality economic and social development of the old revolutionary base area.
