On December 1, the 2023 UFI China Annual Meeting and the 2023 China Convention and Exhibition Innovators Conference were grandly opened in Yuelai International Convention and Exhibition City. Nearly 400 people from the heads of UFI headquarters and the Asia-Pacific region, leaders of the exhibition industry at home and abroad, and senior executives of leading exhibition enterprises gathered together to deeply exchange the present and future of China's exhibition industry.
On the day of the conference, the Chongqing Convention and Exhibition Development International Expert Advisory Group, composed of ten industry experts and representatives of leading enterprises, including Chen Xinjian, Honorary Chairman of UFI and Director of the National Convention and Exhibition Industry Standardization Technical Committee, Marius Berlemann, General Manager of Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai)**, was established. UFI China Convention & Exhibition Elite Conference - Youth Club was also inaugurated.
Ou Shunqing, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the Chongqing Municipal People's Congress, said in his speech that in recent years, Chongqing's convention and exhibition industry has developed rapidly, and the 2023 UFI China Annual Meeting and the 2023 China Convention and Exhibition Innovators Conference will provide a platform for communication, learning and Xi and display.
He Tingkai, Managing Director and CEO of UFI, said in his speech that up to now, more than 230 exhibition companies from China have become UFI members, and more than 220 Chinese exhibition projects have obtained UFI certification, and China has become the largest exhibition market in Asia.
Li Hui, general manager of Chongqing Yuelai Investment Group, said that as the only operating entity of the exhibition city in China, Yuelai Investment Group has actively built digital scenes, and the digital application of the National Expo Center venue has been shortlisted for the top 12 in the world in the UFI Digital Innovation Award and the top three in the world in the UFI Operation and Service Award. Up to now, Yuelai International Convention and Exhibition City has held nearly 3,000 exhibitions and activities, such as the Smart Expo, the Western Trade Fair, the National Teaching Clothing Exhibition, the Retail Expo, and the "Belt and Road" Science and Technology Exchange Conference, receiving more than 23 million visitors from all over the world and driving urban consumption of hundreds of billions of yuan. The 4th China Convention and Exhibition Innovators Conference is another vivid practice of Yuelai Investment Group to actively grasp the cutting-edge trends of the exhibition industry, track the development hotspots of the exhibition industry, and explore the exhibition economy to drive regional economic development. Nearly 400 people from the heads of UFI headquarters and the Asia-Pacific region, leaders of the exhibition industry at home and abroad, senior executives of leading exhibition enterprises and UFI China members gathered together to study and judge the development trend of the global exhibition industry, and to exchange the present and future of China's exhibition industry. This is also the first time that Southwest China has joined hands with global exhibition elites in the exhibition industry to create a thoughtful, valuable and international industry event.
