A wide range of applications for industrial bearings

Industrial bearingsThe term can be very broad, and for good reason. Modern industry relies heavily on bearings in a variety of machines and equipment. They are widely used in almost all types of rotating equipment.

Bearings and their properties remain critical to the effective performance of machinery. These small parts must be reliable and low-maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of the equipment. After all, it is more advantageous to replace a single bearing in an electric motor than an entire motor.

As a result, consistently high quality products and reliability characterize all our products, regardless of bearing type. In addition, our application expertise and industrial bearing expertise means that we are always available for technical support. We understand the hassle that downtime can bring, so whether you need professional relubrication, quick changeovers, or advice on a niche design engineering project, we can help.

Most types of standard bearings can be found in general mechanical applications. Our bearings are available in different materials depending on the application and load. We can supply industrial bearing types from leading manufacturers for applications such as aerospace, medical, machine tools, inverters, instrumentation, food processing, and robotics.

Standard plastic bearings are fitted with acetal (POM-C) rings and nylon (PA66) cages. However, alternative ring or cage materials such as PEEK, PTFE or PVDF can be used for higher corrosion resistance or extreme temperatures.

Standard ceramic bearings are made of zirconium dioxide (ZRO2), but PEEK or PTFE retainers can be manufactured to order. Fully equipped ceramic bearings are also available.

Steel products include thin section steels, micro instrument steels, micro thrust steels, marine grade 316 stainless steel, and popular 440 grade stainless steel sizes. Stainless steel costs more, but is recommended in mildly corrosive environments.
