Hamas is charitable on one side and conflictual on the other

The Islamic Resistance Movement, or Hamas for short, was founded in 1987 as the Islamic Coalition and is an Islamist movement and political party in Palestine. Hamas has extensive influence in the Palestinian region, engaging in philanthropy on the one hand and attacks on Israel on the other.

Different people have different views on Hamas, sympathizers for Palestinians, especially Muslims, often see Hamas as an anti-Israeli hero who bravely resists Israeli aggression and defends the rights and interests of the Palestinians. Pro-Israel Westerners, on the other hand, tend to consider Hamas a terrorist organization that undermines regional peace and stability by carrying out indiscriminate attacks on Israeli civilians.

Hamas's main goal is to "remove Israel from the map" and establish an Islamic theocracy in areas such as present-day Israel, the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip. To achieve this, Hamas has resorted to force. Their actions have put pressure on Israel on the one hand and suffering on the Palestinian people on the other.

However, Hamas is not just an armed force, they are also actively involved in charitable causes in the Palestinian areas. Hamas operates numerous schools, hospitals, and welfare institutions that provide education, health, and welfare services to the Palestinian people. In the Gaza Strip, Hamas has taken on most of the social service functions and has become an important part of the lives of the Palestinian people.

Hamas's dual face, charity and conflict, gives them a complicated position in the Palestinian region. They are both protectors of the Palestinian people and enemies of Israel. They have both helped the Palestinian people and brought suffering to them as a result of the conflict.

With regard to Hamas, our country has always upheld an impartial and objective attitude. While rejecting terrorism in all its forms, we call on Israel to respect the rights and interests of the Palestinian people. We hope that Palestine and Israel will be able to resolve their contradictions and problems through dialogue and negotiation and achieve peace and stability in the region.

In the case of Hamas, we need to understand them more deeply and comprehensively, and we cannot simply label them as "terrorist organizations" or "anti-Israeli heroes". Only in this way can we better understand the question of Palestine and contribute to peace and stability in the region.
