In 2023, the Huludao Warm Student Volunteer Association will uphold morality, work closely around the association's charter, and consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation with donations and education as the main line, and actively contribute to the society in respecting the elderly, helping the disabled, helping the poor, and caring for sanitation workers. Over the past year, under the strong leadership of the relevant functional departments of the city, with the selfless dedication of caring people from all walks of life and the unremitting efforts of volunteers, our volunteer service work has achieved excellent results, and the brand of warm education has become more deeply rooted in the hearts of the people.
1. The overall situation of volunteer service

In 2023, the Warm Student Association will sponsor 40 students in need in mountainous areas, including 15 one-to-one sponsors. The total value of donations and materials throughout the year was 250927 yuan, 200 people participated in volunteer service activities, the volunteer service time was 832 hours (net hours), 71 voluntary trips, the total mileage of 3,810 kilometers, and 35 public welfare activities.
2. Continue to carry out in-depth brand public welfare projects
(1) Regionalized one-to-one precision student assistance programs
In 2023, the association will raise a total of 201492 yuan for 82 students in need in mountainous areas, most of whom are one-on-one pairs of caring people from inside and outside the province. The distribution of student grants (notification of renewal donations) will be publicized to the society through warm student WeChat, Sina Weibo, etc., and the information on one-to-one funding and donations, payment vouchers for student grants and other information will be open and transparent to ensure that the payment of student grants is clear and clear.
It is one of the normalized tasks of the Warm Student Aid Association to carry out door-to-door student assistance activities in mountainous areas, and it is also an important carrier to realize regionalized one-to-one accurate student assistance. Throughout the year, the association carried out 20 activities of collective student assistance to visit and comfort students in need, which was supported and praised by the rural people. Over the past nine years, through continuous and precise assistance, 268 students with difficulties have been provided one-to-one assistance, 48 students have graduated from high school and entered universities, and some students have graduated from college and found their dream jobs.
(2) Warm students public welfare project of love breakfast
Since its launch in October 2017, the "Love Breakfast Warm Students Public Welfare Project" has been continuously carried out with the support and cooperation of the Central School and the Second Central School of Yaowangmiao Town Primary School in Jianchang County. According to the standard of five yuan per person per breakfast, so that the children can eat well and well. This activity is an in-depth expansion and effective extension of the association's "regionalized one-to-one precision student assistance project", and an effective improvement of high-quality student assistance work.
The disadvantaged primary school students in the mountains can eat nutritious breakfast at school every day, which not only solves the problem of children eating breakfast and no longer goes to class hungry, but also reduces a certain economic burden on the disadvantaged families. In the past six years, 64 students have benefited from the Breakfast of Love. During the implementation of the project, in line with the principle of frugality, there has been no waste in all aspects of breakfast procurement, canteen production and meals. These children are very sensible, never waste food, and there is hardly any leftover food on the table or in the rice bowl. These children have seen a significant improvement in their nutritional health and physical fitness, allowing them to concentrate on their studies with greater peace of mind.
(3) Volunteer service project to realize the dream of watching the sea
On July 23, 2023, the Longgang Youth League District Committee of Huludao City and the Huludao Warm Student Volunteer Association successfully held the 9th "Seeing the Sea and Realizing Dreams Practice Public Welfare Activity". This activity led 12 disadvantaged children from the Second Central School of Yaowangmiao Town, Jianchang County to the urban area of Huludao City and embarked on a journey to realize their dreams.
In Xinghai Park near Longhuitou Scenic Area, children from the mountainous areas happily run to the sea in their hearts and feel the breath of the sea up close. These children are in different family predicaments, they are all in the city for the first time, and at this moment the children are watching the sea in Bincheng to realize their dreams. In the 313 Seaside Non-powered Amusement Park, children had fun and enjoyed themselves. Large slides, swings, suspension bridges, trampolines and other amusement projects make these children from the mountains have a lot of fun. In the cinema, 12 children for the first time in their lives ** 3D animated film. The children walked into the Huludao City Library and read books and picture books under the leadership of cultural volunteersRed e-station number reading, jigsaw puzzles;Wisdom Magic Wall AR Aquarium Experience. Children in mountainous areas wander in the ocean of knowledge and experience the joy of learning brought by high technology. Volunteers led the children to Longbeishan Zoo, and the children saw animals in reality for the first time, which was very novel.
Since 2015, the Warm Education Association has carried out this activity during the summer vacation for nine consecutive years, inviting 134 disadvantaged children from Gangyaoling Town, Nanpiao District, Huludao City, Yaowangmiao Town, Jianchang County, Xiaodeyingzi Township, Yaowang Manchu Township, Xingcheng City, Guzhuyingzi Township, Lianshan District, and Gendeyingzi Township, Chaoyang City, to go out of the mountains and into the city. The association arranges a vehicle to pick up and drop off the children throughout each event, and volunteers make every effort to ensure the safety of the children's travel and activities.
(4) Public welfare projects of the Warm Winter Action Plan
Since December 2015, the association has organized and carried out the "Warm Winter Action Plan" for nine consecutive years to help students and their families in difficult areas in mountainous areas.
20 November 2023 is World Children's Day. In the early winter, the association purchased down jackets, cotton pants, cotton shoes, hats, gloves, socks and other clothes for 12 children in distress in the central school of Yaowangmiao Town Primary School in Jianchang County, so that the children could spend the winter warmly. On World Children's Day, children reap warmth and joy.
On November 23, 2023, the outdoor temperature in Huludao City plummeted, with the lowest temperature reaching minus 11. Through the feedback of the teachers of Yaowangmiao Town Middle School in Jianchang County, during the morning exercise, it was found that three students were shivering in the playground only wearing autumn school uniforms. Through understanding, these three classmates are poor, they do not have cotton clothes to protect them from the cold, and they are still wearing single clothes and shoes. The Warm Student Association entrusted Xu Yan and Zhao Jichen to take them to the supermarket that afternoon to buy down jackets, cotton pants, cotton shoes, and socks. The three students were very happy and bought their favorite clothes. They were a little surprised and touched by the sudden warmth, and they didn't expect anyone to care about their warmth and coldness.
After the winter, the Warm Student Association learned that there were students from poor families in Yaowangmiao Town Middle School in Jianchang County, and the bedding in the dormitory was very thin. Through the teacher's visit to the student dormitory to check and verify one by one, the five difficult students who need the most thickened bedding are screened. The association immediately purchased new luggage and bedding for them and delivered them to the school.
On December 28, 2023, the association purchased coal for a disabled family in Gaoqiao Town, Nanpiao District, to convey social warmth.
(5) Volunteer service projects for front-line sanitation workers
Caring for front-line sanitation workers has become the normalized volunteer service work of our association, and the theme activities of condolences to sanitation workers are carried out on the first day of the Lunar New Year and World Environment Day every year.
In the early morning of January 22, 2023 (the first day of the Lunar New Year), 11 volunteers from the Warm Student Association took to the streets to send New Year's greetings and blessings to 100 urban beauticians who were working multiple sections of the new and old urban areas of Huludao City. On that day, the volunteers prepared condolences for the sanitation workers, including disinfectant, masks, warm stickers, almond dew, hand cream, blessing words, etc. Since 2018, the Warmth Scholarship Association has carried out this activity on the morning of the first day of the Lunar New Year for six consecutive years, and each activity has been actively participated by volunteers to convey social warmth.
June 5, 2023 is World Environment Day, and the theme of this year's June 5 Environment Day is: "Reducing Plastic and Picking Up Plastics". Since 2017, the Warmth Scholarship Association has carried out the theme activity of "Caring for Urban Beauticians and Warming Urban Ordinary People" on this day every year. At 7:30 a.m. that day, volunteers delivered warm breakfasts and condolences to 30 "urban beauticians" who worked Jinhu Road at the Longgang District Market.
In the past seven years, the Warm Education Association has cared for 634 sanitation workers who have worked many road sections in the urban area of Huludao City.
IIICarry out volunteer service activities in a solid manner
(1) Visiting and inspecting students with difficulties
On May 1, 2023, volunteers came to Leijiadian Township and Yaowangmiao Town in Jianchang County to inspect and return to the students in the mountainous areas, and brought condolences to the families in need. On the same day, the volunteers also came to the home of Li Zina, a student in Xiliangtun, Yaowangmiao Town, Jianchang County, where five families lived in a remote ravine. On May 27, 2023, volunteers came to Yaolugou Township, Jianchang County, to visit the village to carry out a student assistance inspection.
On July 9, 2023, volunteers came to Yaowang Township, Xingcheng City to inspect 4 students in needOn July 15, 2023, volunteers came to a family of students in need in the old town of Huludao City to carry out a student assistance investigation, and at the same time brought grain, oil, schoolbags and other materials to the family to convey a love and warmthOn August 15, 2023, volunteers came to Shancheng Luyuan Community in Longgang District to inspect a primary school student in distress. The Warm Student Aid Association built a bridge of love and assistance through the Internet, and the six newly inspected children quickly received one-on-one assistance and funding from caring people in the society, and they could study with peace of mind.
On November 24, 2023, volunteers came to Pigeon Cave Village and Yujiatun Village, Yaowangmiao Town, Jianchang County, visited and inspected two students in need, and brought milk, fruits, rice and other materials to send warmth in winter. In response to the current predicament of the two students, the Warm Student Association immediately purchased new school uniforms, winter cotton clothes, cotton shoes and thick bedding luggage for the two children, and also solved the cost of meals for them during the school period, so that they can study and complete their studies with peace of mind.
On December 23, 2023, a group of nine volunteers from the association came to the old town of Huludao City to visit a family of students who were impoverished due to illness, and the volunteers brought school supplies, milk, fruits, snacks, canned food, etc., and at the same time gave 500 yuan in student grants.
(2) Carry out volunteer service and caring actions
1. Learn from Lei Feng Memorial Day. March 5, 2023 is the 24th "China Youth Volunteer Service Day". In order to thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, implement the spirit of the important instructions made by the general secretary of the Communist Party of China on the in-depth development of Lei Feng's activities, and further pass on the spirit of Lei Feng from generation to generation. On March 5, the Warm Student Aid Association launched the "Sunshine Action" to practice the spirit of Lei Feng and help students and the disabled and respect the elderly.
In Longgang District, volunteers came to the bazaar community to visit two students in need, a child with cerebral palsy and their families, and brought them grain, oil, drinks, snacks, clothes and school supplies. Volunteers talk to the students everywhere they go, learn about their studies and family life, and encourage them to be confident and work hard to become useful people to society and the country in the future.
In Nanpiao District, the rural volunteers came to Gangyaoling Town, visited 6 families with disabilities and lonely elderly people, brought them grain, oil, milk and other materials, and conveyed social warmth. Volunteers went to villages and households, practiced the spirit of Lei Feng, sent warmth to the people in need in mountainous areas again, and continued to consolidate the achievements of poverty alleviation.
2. May Fourth Youth Day. On the eve of the May Fourth Youth Day, the Warm Student Association went deep into the mountainous areas to visit and comfort students in difficulty. On May 1, 2023, the volunteers of Warm Student Assistance came to Leijiadian Township and Yaowangmiao Township in Jianchang County to inspect and return to three students in mountainous areas, and brought condolences to families in need
On May 3, 2023, 21 volunteers came to Yaowangmiao Town, Jianchang County to carry out the volunteer service activity of "May Fourth Student, Warm Students". On the same day, volunteers brought grain, oil, drinks, cooked food, books and school supplies to four students and their families in Yaowangmiao Town, Jianchang County. Two volunteers also donated 600 yuan to students in need. Everywhere they went, the volunteers talked cordially with the students to understand their students and their living conditions, and encouraged them to be self-reliant, so that they could use their knowledge to change their destiny and go out of the mountains in the future
On May 14, 2023, the volunteers of the Warm Student Association in Gunyaoling Town sent love and warmth to Chen Anping and her family. After learning about Chen's family difficulties, a caring person immediately formed a one-on-one student assistance pair with him, solved the necessary expenses for her child's schooling, and also purchased milk, nuts, stationery gift boxes and other materials for her online. One volunteer also donated 100 yuan to Chen. When Chen put on the new clothes and shoes brought to her by the volunteers, her face was filled with unconcealed happiness and smiles.
3. Dragon Boat Festival. On June 16, 2023, the volunteers of the Party School of the Huludao Municipal Party Committee carried out the "Volunteer Service and Care Action". The volunteers came to the Longgang District Trade Community and Yangjia Zhuzi Development Zone, visited and condoled two families of students in need, sent grain, oil, milk, eight-treasure porridge, snacks, cooked food and other materials and 1,000 yuan of condolences and sent greetings for the Dragon Boat Festival, so that the people in need could deeply feel the care and warmth from the social family.
On June 20, 2023, entrusted by Sun Lishuang, a caring person in Xingcheng, the rural volunteers of the Warm Education Association sent grain, oil and other materials to 5 families in difficulty in Gangyaoling Town, Nanpiao District, and sent greetings and warmth for the Dragon Boat Festival in advance.
On June 21, 2023, the Warm Student Aid Association distributed grain, oil, milk and other condolences to the families of 9 needy students in Yaowangmiao Town and Yaolugou Township, Jianchang County, wishing the people in the mountainous areas a safe and healthy Dragon Boat Festival.
4. July 1st Party Day. On the occasion of the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, on June 29, 2023, rural party members and volunteers of the Warm Student Volunteer Association visited two old party members in Liujiawopu Village, Gangyaoling Town, Nanpiao District, and conveyed the care of social organizations for them. Volunteers sent condolences such as grain and oil to the old party members, and had a cordial conversation with the two elderly people, sending warmth to the hearts of the elderly.
Giving Day. On September 9, 2023, the Warm Student Volunteer Association came to Longgang District Market and Shancheng Luyuan to visit two families of students in need, bringing grain, oil, drinks, milk, school bags, school supplies, etc. The volunteers encouraged the children to study hard, overcome difficulties, and aspire to contribute to the country and society in the future.
6. Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day. On September 20, 2023, on the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival and the National Day, the Huludao Warm Student Volunteer Association came to Gangyaoling Town, Nanpiao District, and sent condolences such as grain and oil to 25 families in distress in mountainous areas, conveying holiday greetings and warmth. The volunteers also visited the homes of the needy people with limited mobility to send warmth to the hearts of the people in the mountainous areas.
4. Broaden publicity channels and convey the spirit of volunteer service
The Warmth Scholarship Association has written and published 423 original articles on volunteer service on the WeChat public platform of Warmth Scholarship, 1,575 original public welfare Weibo posts on Sina Weibo, 307 "Kuaishou" public welfare works, and 70 Tencent public welfare works, giving full play to the public welfare publicity role of the platform.
Time flies, Huludao Warm Student Volunteer Association has gone through nine years, and the achievements are inseparable from the care, support and help of all walks of life.
