III. Admission Instructions
1.Candidates from outside the schoolYou must present your valid ID card and admission ticket to enter the test center after face recognition comparison and identity verification at the West Gate, and return along the same route after the test.
2.On-campus candidatesYou need to bring your valid ID card, admission ticket, campus card or student ID card to the verification point on the south side of the Science and Technology Building for face recognition comparison and identity verification before entering the test center. After the test, when leaving the verification point on the south side of the Science and Technology Building, the candidate's campus card or student ID card must be checked.
3.On the day of the test, the verification time is 7:00 a.m. and 13:00 p.mCandidates should arrive early and enter the test center according to the designated channel. In order to avoid congestion at the entrance of the test center, candidates are advised to prepare relevant materials and documents in advance for inspection. You will not be allowed to enter the test building 15 minutes after the start of the test (8:45 a.m., 14:15 p.m.).
Fourth, the access of goods
1.After entering the test center, candidates are only allowed to bring the admission ticket, valid ID and test supplies that meet the requirements into the closed management area to take the test, and it is recommended to use a transparent stationery bag. In addition, other items unrelated to the test, such as backpacks, luggage, books, newspapers, manuscript paper, ** materials, books, Xi materials, scratch paper, blank paper, tools with communication functions (such as mobile phones, photographic equipment, scanning equipment, etc.), watches or electronic devices with storage, programming, and query functions, as well as correction fluid, correction tape, and other prohibited items must be stored in the bag storage area set up by the test center. It is strictly forbidden for candidates to bring all kinds of electronic communication tools (such as mobile phones, smart watches, smart glasses and other smart wearable devices) and other items into the closed management area of the test. Except for transparent stationery bags, all kinds of bags are not allowed to enter the venue.
2.Our test centerA special bag storage area is set up along the road from the west gate entrance to the examination building for candidates to store their belongings in a centralized manner. Test takers walk along the planned route to the bag storage area, find the locker corresponding to the test room number where they are located, and lock the backpack, mobile phone, watch and other items that are not allowed to be brought into the test room into the storage compartment (each candidate uses 1 storage compartment, which does not correspond to the seat number and cannot occupy more than one), and the key is temporarily kept by the test taker. The key is attached to a nameplate with the examination room number and storage compartment number, for example: 001-03, which indicates the storage compartment No. 03 of the 001 examination room locker. Please be sure to bring the key, and the key will not alarm when passing through the smart security gate.
3.When accessing and accessing items, candidates should take out their documents, admission tickets, and examination utensils in advance, and organize and pack other items that need to be stored into their school bags to avoid loss and congestion caused by rummaging in the bag storage area.
4.At the end of the test, candidates find their lockers, take out their belongings, and confirm that there are no missing items in the lockers, and then leave the campus in an orderly manner according to the route specified by the test center. After taking out the items, there is no need to lock the cabinet, the key can be left on the cabinet door and cannot be taken away. It is recommended not to bring valuables on the day of the test.
5.If the size of the bag is larger than the normal storage compartment, the test taker can store the bag in the large locker arranged by the test center. The number of large lockers is limited, so if it is not necessary, please store it in a regular locker. After the large locker is used up, it can be placed next to the locker in the examination room.
6.In case of special circumstances such as losing the key or not being able to open the cabinet door, you can ask the on-site staff or volunteers for help.
7.In cold weather, please pay attention to turn off electronic devices when storing them to avoid low temperature and power exhaustion.
8.Candidates outside the school are advised not to bring bags and too many personal belongings, or entrust an accompanying person to keep their personal belongings. Candidates on campus are advised not to bring any items other than the admission ticket, valid ID and examination supplies that meet the requirements. If you really need to store your belongings, you should arrive at the test center at least one hour before the start of each test to avoid delaying the test. If the candidate is unable to enter the examination room on time due to the storage of items, etc., the responsibility shall be borne by the candidate.
5. Security checks
1.When entering the test center building, candidates need to go through the smart security gate for security checks, and candidates must pay attention to the announcement of the test center, reserve sufficient time for security check and admission, queue up to pass the security check in an orderly manner, and take the initiative to accept the identity verification conducted by the test center staff according to the regulations and the necessary inspection of personal belongings.
2.Candidates are advised not to bring electronic communication tools, keys, magnetic cards, lighters, metal bracelets, rings, necklaces, coins, metal cups and other items on the day of the testDo not wear clothes, belts, shoes, hats, hairpins, etc. with metal ornaments, and avoid repeated security checks, which may affect the normal entrance examination.
3.The test centers of our school are all standardized test rooms, and there are clocks on site, and candidates are not allowed to wear watches (including mechanical watches, electronic watches, smart watches, bracelets, etc.) into the test room building.
4.If the examinee is prompted with an abnormal alarm when passing through the "smart security gate", the examinee should explain and hand over the corresponding items for character inspection, and the detected illegal items should be stored back in his locker, and he or she can only be allowed to pass through the "smart security gate" again after there is no abnormal alarm. Admission delays due to repeated security checks due to personal reasons will be the responsibility of the applicant.
5.At the entrance of the test room, the invigilator will conduct a second security check on the candidates. If you find illegal items such as mobile phones during the second security check, you will go directly to the examination office and give a warning, and the candidate's information will be recorded. After the test starts, if the invigilator finds that the test taker has brought prohibited items such as mobile phones into the test room, regardless of whether they are used or whether they contain test-related content, they will be dealt with accordingly as test violations.
6.Security check for special candidates: For test takers who use wheelchairs, crutches, bands or splints, as well as test takers who apply for reasonable accommodations for disability, the test center will conduct security checks on their wheelchairs, crutches and other equipment on the premise of ensuring safety. For those who are unable to use the security inspection equipment due to special physical conditions (such as pacemakers, metal dental appliances, hearing aids, pregnant women, etc.), candidates should contact our test center before the test and issue a certificate issued by a medical institution.
6. Examination equipment
Candidates who take the test at the 1108 University of Science and Technology Beijing test center are only allowed to bring the examination supplies within the examination regulations, such as black writing pens, pencils, erasers, drawing instruments, etc., or the utensils required to be carried according to the admission unit on the admission ticket, and are not allowed to bring any books, newspapers, manuscript paper, ** materials, draft paper, blank paper and other items unrelated to the examination into the examination room.
Reminder:There is no need to use a calculator for the UEC subjects involved in our test centerSelf-proclaimed subjects are only allowed to use the examination equipment indicated in the description column of the enrollment unit on the admission ticket, and the examination equipment that is not indicated is not allowed to be brought into the examination room.
7. Integrity Examination
Amendment (IX) to the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China stipulates that "anyone who organizes cheating in a national examination prescribed by law shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than three years or short-term detention and/or a fine;where the circumstances are serious, a sentence of between three and seven years imprisonment and a concurrent fine is to be given" "Those who provide materials or other assistance to others in committing the crimes in the preceding paragraph are to be punished in accordance with the provisions of the preceding paragraph" "Whoever illegally provides others with test questions or answers from the examinations provided for in the first paragraph for the purpose of cheating on exams is to be punished in accordance with the provisions of the first paragraph" "Those who take the exams provided for in the first paragraph on behalf of others or have others take the exams provided for in the first paragraph on their behalf, are to be sentenced to short-term detention or controlled release and/or a fine".
The Interpretation of the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate on Several Issues Concerning the Application of Law in the Handling of Criminal Cases such as Cheating in Organizational Examinations came into force on September 4, 2019, which clearly stipulates that cheating in examinations for graduate students shall be deemed to be "serious circumstances".
Candidates who violate the examination discipline and regulations shall be dealt with accordingly in accordance with the Measures for Handling Violations in National Education Examinations (Decree No. 33 of the Ministry of Education).
It is hoped that the majority of candidates will fully realize the serious consequences of cheating, and candidates who have purchased or are ready to buy *** materials will resolutely give up, dispel the idea of cheating, and take the exam in good faith.
8. Other matters
In order to provide convenience for candidates, our test center will open the "Academic Lecture Hall" on the south side of Shaw Building in the morning and noon of December 23 and 24 for temporary rest for candidates from outside the school. At the same time, our school's "Tiangong Building Staff Restaurant" (the basement floor of Block B of Tiangong Building) has lunch to candidates outside the school, and candidates go south after leaving the west gate, and there are signs along the way and at the door of the restaurant, and candidates can buy meals by themselves with the admission ticket.
