**: Hefei influence.
Author: Hu Baoyu.
In the art world of Anhui, China, a special phenomenon is eye-catching: the culture of painting and calligraphy prevails and has become a unique landscape. Most of these families originated in Anhui itself, and some of them were foreign families who migrated to Anhui in the early days of the founding of the People's Republic of China. In the last century, these Anhui painters with both virtue and art were inspired by Hui culture, upholding the belief of self-cultivation and morality, preaching and teaching, and made indelible contributions to the cause of Anhui art. Nowadays, their ** is all over the world, and the peach and plum are all over the world.
At the same time, these old artists also passed on their exquisite calligraphy and painting skills to future generations. Therefore, there are many far-reaching calligraphy and painting families in Anhui, who have worked the road of art, and have inherited two, three, and even four generations. Today, the descendants of these artistic families have become the backbone of Anhui's art world, and they have the courage to innovate and break through on the basis of inheriting the artistic essence of their ancestors.
These families inherit not only the precious essence of traditional culture, but also a force that makes people respect, admire art and value the humanistic spirit. Thanks to their efforts, the art world in Anhui has continued to flourish, presenting a rich and colorful artistic picture for the world. The prosperity of the family's calligraphy and painting culture in Anhui has also become an important part of Hui culture, witnessing the glorious history of Anhui's art industry.
Xiao Chengzhen and Hu Baoyu.
In this era of vitality and creativity, the children of the family of calligraphy and painting will continue to carry forward the traditional culture, and bring more surprises to the Anhui art world with their unique artistic perspective and rich expressions. They shoulder the mission of inheriting and promoting the family art, and present more unique and charming calligraphy and painting works to the world with professionalism and innovation. On this artistic road, they continue to pursue excellence and make greater contributions to the prosperity of Anhui's fine arts.
JAC freehand is an artistic style based on bones. It originates from traditional painting, blending the majesty of the north and the grace of the south, forming a unique artistic style. Through delicate brushstrokes and unique compositions, the painters express the emotions of the characters to the fullest. What they pursue is a realistic and natural way of expression, so that the viewer can feel the inner world and emotional changes of the characters.
Xiao Chengzhen presented "Xiao Longshi Painting Collection".
Represented by Xiao Longshi, the Jianghuai freehand style takes flower and bird painting as its artistic characteristics, and consciously forms a painting genre in the land of Jianghuai. Xiao Longshi is a famous contemporary flower and bird painting master in our country, he has studied Wu Changshuo, Qi Baishi, and Li Keran, Li Kuchan, Xu Linlu and other celebrities in the art world, experienced from the late Qing Dynasty to the reform and opening up to the present more than 100 years of historical changes and Xiao's more than 90 years of pen and ink career, thousands of **, created the Jianghuai freehand painting school, in Jiangsu, Anhui, Shandong, Shanghai and other places and even the whole country has a greater influence.
Mr. Xiao Chengzhen was born in 1942 in Xiao County, which is known as the "hometown of Chinese painting". Since childhood, he has adhered to his family education, and has been deeply influenced by his father Xiao Longshi to study calligraphy and painting. His calligraphy has developed a unique style that is chic and smooth, rhythmic and breathing. His paintings are devoted to the brushwork of Qi Baishi, Wu Changshuo, Bada Shanren, Shi Tao and other predecessors, and he has learned from his family in one furnace. His works have been exhibited and collected in many places at home and abroad, and many of them have been reported in columns, published "Xiao Chengzhen's Flower and Bird Landscape Painting Collection", and his personal biography has been included in the "Dictionary of Chinese Contemporary Calligraphy and Painting Seal Carvers". In 1996, he was hired as a librarian at the Anhui Provincial Research Institute of Culture and History.
Inheriting the lineage of Xiao Longshi, Xiao Chengzhen is a relatively diligent person, inheriting family learning since childhood, coupled with his own hard work, he is even more unique in his painting style. Guan Xiao's old paintings, vigorous and powerful, sophisticated brushwork, vertical and horizontal paper, all in one go. Especially when painting bluegrass, the clouds flow smoothly, swaying freely, and the traditional Chinese calligraphy brush and ink are integrated into it, and it is free to collect and release. Mr. Xiao Chengzhen has made great achievements in orchids, flowers and birds, landscapes, and calligraphy.
My relationship with Mr. Xiao Chengzhen originated from a creative pen meeting of Huilu Art Society, and I was fortunate to be able to exchange JAC freehand experience with the 82-year-old Mr. Xiao Chengzhen, and I was deeply honored. Xiao Lao is low-key and amiable, perhaps it is the family longevity gene, Xiao Lao's spirit is very good, and his passion is also very high when creating, which is very rare.
Commenting on Jianghuai's freehand, there are a lot of articles before, there are praises and critics, and there are many critics who write beauty critics in the market, I am not as good as my predecessors in terms of level writing, and I was deeply touched by the big red robe that Xiao Chengzhen gave to "Xiao Longshi" and "Xiao Chengzhen" father and son, and I want to talk about my real views and opinions:
In JAC freehand, bone is one of the most important elements. Bone refers to the structure and skeleton in the picture, which is the foundation and support of the entire work. Through the use of lines, colors and brushstrokes, the painter clearly reveals the skeletal structure, so that the viewer can feel the strength and stability of the work.
First of all, JAC freehand is rich in connotation, and it shows the "bigness" of freehand through concise and summarized lines. After the painter gives emotion, he expresses his emotions and cultivates his soul through methods such as relaxation, lyricism, and parasitism.
Secondly, the artistic conception of JAC is far-reaching, and the art form is unique. The most basic aesthetic quality of freehand flower and bird painting is the overall grasp of the dialectical relationship between "image" and "artistic conception". Freehand painting is a lyrical and elegant play that originates from the heart and sprouts because of the Tao, attaches great importance to the performance of brush and ink, color, composition, artistic conception, etc., and always has the meaning of "backbone" in the style of freehand painting, which requires long-term hard work and experience in order to achieve the true majestic character.
In addition, Jianghuai is full of spiritual freedom and vitality. The formation and development of freehand flower and bird painting has its own unique spiritual and cultural connotations, such as the influence of traditional ideas such as Confucianism, Taoism, and Buddhism. Influenced by the idea of "mind learning" and "painting with Zen", Jianghuai freehand flower and bird painting has a unique brush and ink culture and spiritual freedom, so that the comprehension can create a majestic freehand work.
As the inheritor of Xiaomen's art, Xiao Chengzhen has learned from others and formed his own unique artistic style. In terms of flowers and birds, although there are many themes painted by Mr. Xiao Chengzhen, like the old man of Longtu, orchid grass and lotus are his representative works. In contrast, the old man of Longtu writes Lan Zhongfeng with a pen, the iron line is draped, and the strength is lush, and the teacher Cheng Zhen writes that although Lan is not as good as his father in pen and ink skills, he has a unique free and honest taste. The same painting lotus is not as steady and subtle as the old man Longshi, but it is a little more indulgent and arrogant.
Xiao Chengzhen's painting of ink lotus is quite thick and simple. The lotus leaves are thick and heavy, the shades are distinct, the infinite vitality is hidden, and the red lotus flowers in full bloom and the lotus leaves splashed with ink reflect each other, which makes people forge ahead. The reason for this is due to skill and temperament, most of the old people of Longtu are calm, while Cheng Zhen uses the pen unrestrained, fast, and integrates his own ideas. Although the ink lotus written is very close to the dragon master in terms of chapter and form, the pen and ink taste has his own characteristics, which is a chic and bright style without losing the thick and simple.
Mr. Xiao Chengzhen's works such as "Orchid Bamboo and Stone Map", "Eagle", "Hollow Valley Fragrance" and "Fragrance Brushing" are simple and spicy, intriguing. Through his brushstrokes, he successfully expresses the aura of the mountains and rivers and the harmony between man and nature. Mr. Xiao's calligraphy beginner Yan Liu, and then the Han Monument;Xingcao is based on the "two kings", as well as Zhang Xu, Huaisu, Sun Guoting, etc., and the calligraphy style of the old man Longshi has a deep influence on it. From his works, we can vaguely see that Shi Ji's composure and vigor, Shi Tao's lush and bold, Bada's concise and subtle, and Huang Binhong's rich Huazi have had a profound impact on him, which is the embodiment of his good learning.
The old man of Longshi took Liren as the first and painting art as the last in his life, so his character and art were highly valued by the world. He is very strict with the teaching of his children and grandchildren, and Mr. Xiao Chengzhen keeps in mind his father's teachings, continues the fine family style, and is strict with himself in life and study. He is honest and simple, modest and self-disciplined, and devotes himself to art, and is generally praised inside and outside the circle. During his tenure as the president of the Siu Long Shi Art Research Association, he prepared the Siu Long Shi Art Memorial Hall to promote the research and development of the Jianghuai Da Yi School, which was sincerely supported and supported by the art world and people from all walks of life. This is everyone's recognition and appreciation of him and Xiao Men's artistic achievements, and it is full of admiration and respect for the character of Xiao and his son.
The artistic style of JAC Daxiyi is unique and distinctive, which not only continues the traditional essence of ancient painting, but also shows the creativity and imagination of modern Chinese artists. With its unique artistic language and expression, it has attracted the attention of countless audiences and has become an important part of Chinese art. Looking at the Jianghuai freehand painting school founded by Mr. Xiao Longshi, although the painting school has achieved remarkable results after decades of inheritance and development, and some of the "Longmen Bachelors" have emerged in the Anhui painting circle and even become the backbone of the figures.
However, there are very few people who can truly inherit the essence of JAC freehand. Today, we still have to explore and inherit such artistic achievements, carry forward on the basis of inheriting our predecessors, and follow the artistic path pioneered by Xiao Longshi to inherit and carry forward the development of the "Jianghuai Freehand Painting School", which is of great significance for publicizing, revitalizing and prospering the development of Anhui calligraphy and painting, and promoting Anhui calligraphy and painting culture to the whole country.
