1. Inspection and calibration of pipe level
1. Inspection
After the instrument is leveled, select 180 degrees to see the level of the instrument.
2. Calibration
During the inspection, if the bubble of the pipe level deviates from the center, first adjust it with a foot spiral parallel to the pipe level, so that the bubble moves to the center by nearly half of the deviation. The remaining half is adjusted to the center of the bubble by turning the leveler correction screw (on the right side of the level) with the correction needle.
Rotate the instrument 180° to check that the bubbles are centered. If the bubble is still not centered, repeat step 1 until the bubble is centered.
Rotate the instrument 90° and use the third foot spiral to adjust the bubble centering.
Repeat the inspection and calibration steps until the alignment part turns to center the bubble in any direction.
2. Inspection and calibration of circular level
1. Inspection
After the long level is corrected, if the bubble of the round level is also centered, it does not need to be corrected.
2. Calibration
If the bubble is not centered, use the correction pin or hexagon hand to adjust the correction screw under the bubble to center the bubble. When calibrating, you should first loosen the correction screws (or screws) on the opposite side of the bubble offset direction, and then tighten the rest of the correction screws in the offset direction to center the bubble. When the bubble is centered, the tightening force of the three correction screws should be the same (this is important).
