Fast Technology reported on December 24 that NIO's new flagship model NIO ET9 was released on NIO Day a few days ago, with a price starting at 800,000 yuan, and delivery will start in the first quarter of 2025.
According to the official introduction, ET9 is the first to ride the newly released "Skyride" full-wire-controlled intelligent chassis by NIO, which is currently the world's only full-wire-controlled intelligent chassis system.
In order to visually demonstrate the performance of the SkyRide chassis, NIO carried out the "Champagne Tower" challenge, in which the front of the ET9 was stacked with champagne glasses to form a three-tiered "Champagne Tower", and then the ET9 drove through the continuous undulating road.
*。The measured footage shows that the champagne goblet at the front of the car is quite stable, not only did it not fall, but the champagne in the glass did not spill; Moreover, when passing over undulating roadblocks, only the ET9's wheels jump up and down, while the body remains stable.
NIO officially said that for the first time, the Skyride chassis integrates the three core hardware systems of steer-by-wire, rear-wheel steering and fully active suspension.
Each shock absorber is highly integrated with an independent electro-hydraulic pump, which can process, calculate and respond to information in less than 1 millisecond, and the body can adjust up to 60 times faster than an air spring.
The suspension supports large height adjustment, 1,000 torque adjustments per second, and the four wheels are independently controlled, which can walk on the ground in complex road conditions.
