From December 23rd to 25th, the 2024 National Master's Admission Examination was successfully conducted at the examination center of our university. Our school has set up a total of 271 examination rooms, and undertook the examination work of a total of 7,834 candidates inside and outside the school. With the full cooperation of the relevant departments of the whole school, the work goal of "safe research and examination" has been realized.
The university attaches great importance to the national master's degree admissions examination, and the school leaders have held many examination work deployment meetings and coordination meetings, formulated and improved work plans and emergency plans, and carried out work scheduling in a timely manner to ensure that the relevant work requirements of the superiors are in place. The National Graduate School takes the lead in the national postgraduate admissions examination, and the Party and Government Office, the Office of the Commission for Discipline Inspection, the Supervision Office, the Propaganda Department, the Youth League Committee, the Academic Affairs Department, the Student Work Office, the Security Office, the General Affairs Department, the Information Technology Office, the Public Education Center, the University Hospital and other departments implement various tasks in a solid and meticulous manner in accordance with their responsibilities and division of labor.
During the examination, Principal Song Xuefeng led a team to inspect and guide the candidates' security check into the examination area, mobile phone storage area, test center office and test paper distribution classroom, and listened to the work report on how to achieve the orderly admission of candidates, the mobile phone storage is not crowded, and the test paper is safe and confidential, and put forward specific requirements. Vice President Zhang Jixiong inspected the examination room and asked all departments to implement various tasks in a solid and meticulous manner in accordance with the division of responsibilities, improve their positions, optimize services, and make every effort to ensure the safety and stability of the group examination. The Graduate School has formulated a detailed division of tasks and emergency plans, strengthened the hierarchical and multi-round training of examination personnel, conscientiously done a good job in all aspects of the examination group examination, and configured a certain number of post-examination preparation venues in each examination area. In order to reduce the impact of the recent cold weather on the candidates' waiting for the examination, the school has set up a waiting area that can accommodate more than 2,000 candidates in Area C on the 2nd floor of the Bo and Area A on the 5th floor of the Bo. The school also arranges personnel to set up candidate service points in each teaching building to respond to and solve candidates' on-site demands in a timely manner. Organize the production of candidates' admission to the school and the examination room guidance signs, and carry out the creation of the examination atmosphere. The General Affairs Department has carefully organized and specially launched a series of intimate services such as hot tea, biscuit snacks, insulated meals, lunch break space, etc., to ensure the normal heating, power supply and water supply during the examination, and to do a good job in campus space cleaning, school bus service, lunch**, emergency support and other work in a timely manner to ensure that the logistics service work is "uninterrupted". The security department strengthens the security force, actively coordinates with the public security and traffic police, and earnestly carries out vehicle entry and exit guidance, and candidates enter the school for inspection, so as to ensure the safety and orderliness of the campus during the examination. The public education center carries out "multi-round, dragnet" maintenance of the software and hardware equipment in the standardized examination room, and responds to emergency failures during the examination, so as to ensure the safe and stable operation of the standardized examination room and monitoring and command center of the national education examination of our school. The Youth League Committee recruited more than 900 student volunteers to assist in the examination room service, road guidance, dining guidance, security door, mobile phone storage cabinet service, etc. The Information Technology Department arranges key technical personnel to be on duty to do a good job in information monitoring and campus network security. The Office of the Commission for Discipline Inspection and the Supervision Department conscientiously perform the re-supervision function of supervision, and carry out "embedded" supervision and inspection on the spot to provide supervision and guarantee for the smooth conduct of the examination. The Office of Student Affairs arranges mental health teachers to provide psychological counseling services for candidates throughout the process, and organizes student organizations such as the Public Security Department to assist in order maintenance. The Propaganda Department has intensified the publicity of the examination, planned and created works with the theme of integration, and cheered for the students who were admitted to graduate school. The university hospital has deployed additional medical staff in the duty room of each test center to protect the health of candidates. In addition, the Party and Government Office, the Department of Educational Affairs, the Ministry of Human Resources and other departments have made every effort to do a good job in the coordination and guarantee of examinations.
It is reported that more than 790 invigilators, more than 40 examination personnel, and more than 260 security personnel were arranged for this examination. In accordance with the requirements of the examination, 13 security gates were used for the entry of candidates' mobile phones, and 40 mobile phone lockers were provided, which could provide 8,000 mobile phones for storage. Before the exam, the official WeChat account of our school and the Graduate School** issued a pre-test announcement at the test center, involving admission reminders, traffic reminders, dining reminders, etc., and sent reminders about security checks and mobile phone management to each candidate through the research and recruitment network.
According to the data of the research and recruitment network, nearly 170,000 candidates applied for the master's degree of our university and took the examination at 672 test centers across the country. cumt
