The Dabang River is a tributary of the Nanpan River section of the Xijiang River system in the Pearl River Basin, and a tributary of the north bank of the lower reaches of the Beipan River. There are two sources of Wang Er River and Kebu River. After the confluence of the two sources, it flows through Anshun Xixiu District, Zhenning, Guanling and other places, and flows into the Beipan River. The Tabang River basin covers an area of 2,891 square kilometers and has a total length of 1322 kilometers, the drop is 960 meters, and the average annual flow of the estuary is 60 cubic meters per second. There are many river sections where the main trunk and tributaries of the Dabang River are concentrated, there are many peculiar karst caves and waterfalls, and the largest waterfall is the Huangguoshu Waterfall on the Kebu River of the Dabang River, which is famous at home and abroad. And there are karst cave landscapes such as Huangguoshu Water Curtain Cave, Zhenning Rhino Cave, and Anshun Dragon Palace. The hydropower stations at the foot of Huangguoshu Waterfall and Tianshengqiao are also famous hydropower facilities.
With the theme of "strengthening the law enforcement and supervision of rivers and lakes and cracking down on illegal acts", the river patrol personnel inspected the establishment of the river chief public notice board in the river section of Xinyuan Village, Jianglong Town, Dabang River, and whether there is any indiscriminate occupation, indiscriminate piling, indiscriminate construction, indiscriminate mining, illegal fishing, damage to the shoreline of the water area and other issues.
