Principle: The tank can be operated under pressure and vacuum. The product is heated by means of a heating jacket. Raw materials are entered through an inlet at the top of the device, through a manhole, or through a valve at the bottom of the tank (if the device is operating in a vacuum).

If the process requires an emulsion or a certain level of shear, a Cowlerian agitator or even a high shear agitator can be used. The speed and temperature of the agitator can be controlled via the control panel.
