1. Product introduction.
The SV-10 viscometer is an instrument that measures the viscosity of liquids using the tuned fork vibration method. The instrument has the characteristics of high measurement accuracy, wide measurement range, fast temperature response, small sample dosage, and easy operation. This manual will introduce the main functions, structure, usage methods, calibration methods and precautions of the SV-10 viscometer.
Second, product functions.
and SV-10 viscometer can measure 0Liquid viscosity in the range of -10,000 MPa·s ( cp 2 2 . The instrument calculates the viscosity of a liquid by detecting the driving current required to make the two sensor plates vibrate at a constant frequency (0Hz) and amplitude (less than 1mm). The instrument can also measure the temperature of the liquid and display it on the screen. The instrument can be connected to a PC or printer via a USB interface for data transfer and printing.
Third, the product structure.
and SV-10 viscometer is composed of a display unit and a main unit The display unit includes an LCD screen, buttons and an interface The main unit includes a sensor board, a sample cup, a sample cup lid and a bracket The display unit and the main unit are connected by cable The schematic diagram of the product structure is as follows:
Fourth, how to use.
1.Connect the display unit to the main unit, and then plug the display unit's power plug into an AC power outlet.
2.Press the power button to turn on the instrument.
3 .Press the menu key to enter the function setting mode In this mode, you can set the measurement unit, temperature unit, automatic shutdown time, language and other parameters Press the up and down keys to select different function items, press the left and right keys to modify the value of the function items, press the OK key to save the settings, and press the cancel key to exit the setting 4Press the Menu key to return to the measurement mode.
5.Use a syringe or dropper to add about 2 ml of the liquid to be tested to the sample cup, taking care not to allow the liquid to spill or come into contact with parts other than the sensor plate
6.Gently close the lid of the sample cup to prevent the liquid from volatilizing or being affected by the outside world
7.Wait for the liquid and sensor plate to reach thermal equilibrium, which usually takes a few seconds When "ready" is displayed on the screen, it means that the instrument is ready for measurement.
8.Press the start button to start the measurement, and the current viscosity and temperature values will be displayed on the screen
If there is a change in the viscosity or temperature of the liquid, the instrument will reflect it in real time.
9.Press the stop button to end the measurement At this point, the viscosity and temperature values of the last measurement are displayed on the screen
10.Press the print button to print out the measurement results, and if the instrument is not connected to a printer, an "error" will be displayed on the screen
11.By pressing the save button, you can save the measurement results to the instrument's internal memory, and the instrument can save up to 100 measurement results If the memory is full, "full" will be displayed on the screen
12.Press the Read button to view the saved measurement results, press the up and down keys to turn the page, press the left and right buttons to switch between different measurement results, and press the cancel button to exit the view.
1 .Press the delete button to delete the saved measurement results, press the up and down keys to select the measurement results you want to delete, press the OK button to confirm the deletion, and press the cancel button to cancel the deletion
14.After the measurement is completed, wipe the sensor plate and sample cup with a paper towel or cotton swab to remove the residual liquid, and be careful not to clean the sensor plate with organic solvents or abrasives to avoid damaging the instrument.
15.Press the power button, turn off the instrument, unplug it, and disconnect the power supply.
5. Calibration method.
and SV-10 viscometer can be calibrated with viscosity standards to improve measurement accuracyThere are two calibration methods: one-point calibration and two-point calibration One-point calibration only needs to use one viscosity standard, which is suitable for narrow measurement ranges Two-point calibration requires the use of two viscosity standards, which are suitable for a wide range of measurements, and the calibration method is as follows:
1.Press the power button to turn on the instrument.
2.Press the Menu button to enter the function setting mode
3 .Press the up and down keys and select "Calibration".
4.Press the left and right buttons and select "1 point" or "2 point".
5.Press the OK button to enter the calibration mode
6.If "1 point" is selected, follow the on-screen prompts to enter the viscosity value and temperature value for the viscosity standard If "2 point" is selected, follow the on-screen prompts to enter the viscosity value and temperature value for each of the viscosity standards When the input is complete, press the OK key
7.Follow steps 5 to 9 of the usage method to measure the viscosity of each viscosity standard If "1 point" is selected, only one viscosity standard needs to be measured If "2 point" is selected, you need to measure both viscosity standards in order from lowest to highest
8.After the measurement is completed, "calibration OK" will be displayed on the screen to indicate that the calibration has been successfully pressed, press the OK button, save the calibration result, press the cancel button, and discard the calibration result
9.Press the Menu key to return to the measurement mode.
