As a kid whose hometown is in a Midwestern city, I'm excited to go to the Pacers to play. At least that's what my family would think, my hometown of Oshkesh isn't far from Indianapolis, which increases my chances of meeting them. But more importantly, it's like you're playing for your hometown team, and winning means a lot.
The Pacers are a team with a very long history, and I have the impression that they are regular visitors to the playoffs, which is very different from what we were in Sacramento, and at the time I left, we hadn't made the playoffs for 15 seasons.
It's a lucky thing to be in this team, they know exactly what the team needs and it's important to know that there aren't too many opportunities to play under a manager like Carlisle. A manager who has won every accolade and coached some of the best players in the league. It's incredible to me.
And I really like our lineup, Myles Turner is a versatile player who can play both offensively and defensively, and it's hard to break down our basket when he's around. And then there's Stephenson, whose presence is exciting. Truth be told, as a LeBron James fan, no one is going to like this guy, and so am I. He's like my nemesis, but I know whyBecause he really made things difficult for LeBron in the game, he did his job brilliantly and it's an honor to work with a player like that.
And Duarte, who is a very interesting rookie and I've been watching him. Man, I really don't lie to you, I know everyone on the roster and I'm confident that soon we'll be a nuisance in the East, and I have to say it feels really good to be needed.
I have to thank the Pacers for bringing me back to the team and being part of a trade for Sabonis Jr., an All-Star, which is a big affirmation for me. It's also clear to me that the Pacers' management is smart and they're not going to trade Sabonis Jr. for a mediocre guy.
I'm here to be one of the core of the Pacers, and I'm going to play as hard as I always do until this team reaches the heights that people expect. I'm going to do my job and do my job well, but of course it's going to take more responsibility, and to tell you the truth, that's exactly what I want to happen.
Basketball is a career I've been pursuing all my life, so I've been prepared for it for a long time. Coming to Indiana is not only to leave a page of mine, but also to help this team achieve something special. In order to make Pacers fans proud of this team.
Finally, I'm here to be the best Haliburton!
Haliburton, who was on the plane, was still noisy because of the loud noises of Thompson and Hield, but now he has the authority to command the team, averaging 26 per game9 points 42 rebounds 121 assist, only 222 turnovers, many people don't know what that means, 5With an assist-to-turnover ratio of 45, there is no such exaggerated statistic for all the great point guards in the history of the league, and he has made history of his own.
There is also the Pacers' current 12-8 record ranked 5th, Haliburton, like Curry, is creating his own style of play, relying on this "supercar engine", the Pacers average offensive efficiency of up to 123 per game5, ranked first in the league, as Harry said, he has become a legend of the city, and what needs to be done now is to burn more chapters of his own in the history of the great team.
