The first overseas factory!Huawei officially announced, foreign media Huawei is back

Huawei's smartphones have a very good reputation among domestic consumers, and even after Huawei's mobile phone shipments, many people would rather queue up and increase the price to buy Huawei's smartphones. Previously, Huawei's Mate60 Pro was hyped to $2399 in the international market.

In fact, in addition to its outstanding performance in the field of smart phones, Huawei is also very good in communication equipment, and can be called the world's leading equipment giant, providing base stations and communication equipment products to operators in hundreds of countries around the world. Huawei's shipments of communication equipment products have also surpassed Ericsson and Nokia, becoming the world's No. 1 communications equipment manufacturer.

Especially in the era of 5G technology, Huawei's technology and equipment level have been recognized by many communication operators, and it is also "far ahead" in WiFi wireless network.

In fact, Huawei is not only popular in China, but also has a lot of influence in foreign markets, and most importantly, Huawei has always attached great importance to the development of overseas markets and has built a number of R&D centers overseas. In fact, Huawei's equipment is also attracting attention in overseas markets. In order to better expand overseas markets, Huawei has recently officially announced that it will build its first overseas factory in France, which is expected to be put into production in 2025, with an annual production capacity of 1 billion chips, equipment, and components required for 4G and 5G base stations. Some foreign countries said: Huawei is back.

In fact, Huawei's factory in France was planned to start construction as early as 2021, but due to the influence of many factors, the construction plan of this factory has come to a standstill. Now that Huawei has restarted the construction of its factory in France, the significance behind it is not trivial.

Previously, Huawei suspended the construction plan of the French factory because of changes in the market environment. In order to curb the expansion of Huawei's communication equipment in the international market, the United States has not only provided subsidies to require American communications operators to dismantle Huawei's equipment, but also asked the European Union to ban Huawei's communication equipment.

However, the EU naturally cannot pay for Huawei's 5G equipment to be rebuilt after dismantling it, so the United States has also said that it can give subsidies. However, for the United States, it is naturally impossible to spend a large amount of money to do this, and the United States also believes in its heart that the EU should contribute part of its own money.

As a result, the subsidies provided by the United States are largely unable to cover the costs. For the EU, the dismantling of Huawei equipment and rebuilding has had a great impact on the EU's 5G network construction, and now it has to pay some of its own money, which is naturally unwilling. Therefore, the European Union promised the United States to dismantle Huawei equipment, but in fact it did not take any action.

For Huawei, the construction of the factory is a real capital investment, even if the EU is unlikely to really dismantle Huawei equipment, it is indeed possible, so Huawei chose to suspend the construction of the factory when the EU market situation is not clear. Recently, the attitude of EU countries towards Huawei equipment has gradually become obvious.

The first is the United Kingdom, which originally planned to dismantle Huawei equipment at the end of 2022, but it was directly postponed to the end of 2023, and now it is close to this time, and the United Kingdom has once again said that it will extend it indefinitely. This basically means that the Huawei device is not going to be removed.

The second is Germany, which has previously conducted a comprehensive security review of Huawei equipment, which is currently the largest and most advanced in terms of scale and technical means. At that time, many people said that Germany was ready to dismantle Huawei equipment, and even began to estimate the cost. But what people didn't expect was that Germany found that it would take at least hundreds of billions of dollars to really dismantle Huawei's equipment, so it gave up. Not long ago, Germany came up with a lot of evidence to declare that there is no so-called security risk in Huawei equipment.

This basically means that Huawei's situation in the European market has gradually become clear, and operators in EU countries will use Huawei equipment on a large scale in the future, in this case, Huawei will naturally restart the French factory construction plan. After all, if there is demand, how can there not be enough production capacity?

Postscript:

Huawei recently announced plans to restart its factory in France, which is Huawei's first overseas factory, with an annual production capacity of 1 billion communication devices. This basically means that Huawei is about to enter the European market on a large scale, and Huawei's resumption of the previously suspended factory construction plan is largely related to the change in the European market situation.
