Cement-based permeable crystalline waterproof coating is a rigid waterproof material. It has unmatched secondary impermeability and structural compatibility. Its waterproof and impermeable performance in underground engineering is significantly better than that of ordinary waterproof materials. However, if "three points of materials, seven percent of construction" is not in accordance with the correct construction steps, no matter how good the materials may not be able to do well. So in the cold winter waterproof construction, what should we pay attention to when applying cement-based permeable crystalline waterproof coatings.
1.Substrate surface treatment.
1) When using cement-based permeable crystalline waterproof coating, the surface of the base layer should be clean, and there should be no cement scum, oil stains and other debris. Clean the concrete base. The waterproof coating can be tightly combined, which is conducive to the penetration and crystallization of the coating and plays a secondary anti-seepage role. If regular cleaning is not possible, a wire brush, high-pressure water rinse, etc. can be used. Can be used.
2) Carefully inspect structural defects, honeycombs, holes, cracks, around water pipes, etc. on the surface of the substrate. First, mix the mud with a leak-proof material, such as Laneige's Water Plugging King, to fill and smooth the material and clean up sharp edges and protrusions. The loose and porous base surface should be coated with waterproof coating and leveled. Make an arc angle on nodes where the inner and outer angles are equal (inner angle r50 mm, outer angle r10 mm).
3) Before construction, the working face must be thoroughly moistened with clean water to form internal saturation, so that the cement-based permeable crystalline waterproof coating can penetrate into the concrete structure with the help of water. However, in order to keep the surface of the base layer moist, it is necessary to do a good job of moisturizing for a period of time during winter construction.
2.Start with a partial primer from top to bottom, then a partial primer from left to right. Ensure the thickness of the paint and the recommended application amount, otherwise the slurry will be too thin or unevenly stirred, and it will easily become powdery or crusty. Stir well with an electric mixer until a homogeneous slurry is formed without any powder clumps. Let sit for 10 minutes to allow the slurry to fully mature before stirring a second time. During the second stirring, the agitator should be placed at the bottom of the container without any lifting action to prevent air entrainment in the slurry. The adjusted slurry should be used up as soon as possible.
3.When applying a large area, use a brown brush or scraper to evenly coat the cement slurry on the fully moistened base surface, without water, and pay attention to avoid brushing. After the previous coat has cured and developed sufficient strength, the next coat should be applied. The layers should be painted perpendicular to each other.
It is recommended to use fiberglass mesh cloth to reinforce the upper and lower pipe joints with large cracks and easy deformation. The high-pressure injection method can also be used for construction. At the beginning of curing, the paint has cured to the point where it will not be damaged by water spray. In winter, spray water 1 3 times a day (without freezing) or cover it with a moist, breathable linen or straw mat for two days. The maintenance work lasts from 1 to 2 days.
