The steel industry is a large-scale and complex process industry, and every process link cannot be seen, touched, or measured, and there is a "black box" problem. In the context of the digital age, Wang Guodong believes that the steel industry can use data science and digital technology to solve the "black box" problem, which is also the only key to solving the uncertainty problem, and it should be used well.
The equipment technology and informatization level of China's iron and steel industry has reached the forefront of the industrial era, but there have been problems in product quality, efficiency, cost, stability, etc. In this case, Wang Guodong pointed out that the important task of the steel industry is the high-quality development of new industrialization, so it is necessary to build an infrastructure foundation for digital transformation, on this basis, "intelligent transformation and digital transformation", "digital brain transformation" and "model upgrading", accelerate digital transformation, and empower green, high-quality, and strong chain.
So, what is the innovation infrastructure of steel companies?Wang Guodong said that this infrastructure can be summarized as "one network, three platforms, and four functions". One network: 5G industrial Internet. Three platforms: the underlying physical device platform (end), the edge digital core platform (edge), and the resource allocation and management cloud platform (cloud). Four functions: super intelligent process control, green process and equipment R&D innovation, high-efficiency and low-cost product innovation, and coordinated management and optimized operation of the whole industry chain under 5G.
Subsequently, Wang Guodong introduced the overall architecture of the data-driven generative AI large model system in the steel industry.
