For the Xishuangbanna in my dream, I once again came to the south of Caiyun
It should have been more than 20 years since I went to Yunnan several times before.
The first time I was most impressed was to participate in the World Expo in Kunming. At that time, it was the turn of the century, and although we were a small county-level city, the city leaders were very "ahead of their time" and organized a delegation of more than 50 people to Kunming, Yunnan Province to help the World Plant Exposition, and I was also one of the more than 50 members of the delegation. I don't really know what was achieved that time, but I did come to Kunming, Yunnan.
Later, he participated in the National Agricultural Products Fair and other activities in Kunming.
In those years, I have been to Yunnan several times to the south of Caiyun, and have been to Stone Forest, Dali, Lijiang and other places, as well as Dianchi Lake and Xishan in Kunming, and I have also specially gone to the center of the street to see Jinma Biji Fang.
But it's a pity that I haven't been to Xishuangbanna.
In fact, the first thing I knew about the southwestern border of the motherland was Xishuangbanna, which was in the early 60s of the last century, when I was in the fourth grade of primary school, there was Xishuangbanna in the geography textbook. I remember that the teacher once said that Xishuangbanna is the only tropical region in China, with tropical primeval forests and elephants, and it is a very beautiful place.
I can't even remember any other city, but I was very impressed with Xishuangbanna. Later, I have been thinking that if I have the opportunity in the future, I must go to Xishuangbanna to have a look.
There was a chance before, that time it was an activity organized by Yancheng City, and the leaders had this arrangement to take everyone to Xishuangbanna and the Sino-Burmese border to investigate.
But unfortunately, a colleague who came with me suddenly became unwell and wanted to go home, so I had to accompany him back and miss Xishuangbanna. At that time, I thought I would have a chance to come back later.
Who knew that this wait would be many years, in the middle of which I have been to Taiwan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Henan, Shanxi, Zhejiang, and before I have yet to Yunnan, I encountered a sudden epidemic and couldn't go anywhere.
Fortunately, the epidemic was lifted in the spring of this year, and the tourism industry in various places also began to recover, which once again sparked the interest of visiting the mountains and rivers.
I happened to brush the advertisement in Yunnan on the Internet, and there were ten days including the project of Xishuangbanna's itinerary, I think Dali and Lijiang are really good, I can take my wife to see, and then I also fulfilled the Xishuangbanna dream that has been buried in my heart for decades.
However, it was not until today that the official departure was officially arranged, flying directly from Nanyang Airport to Kunming.
Take-off at 11 o'clock in the morning, the plane landed at Kunming Changshui Airport at two o'clock in the afternoon, there was already a travel agency to pick up the staff contact, the car drove all the way to Changshui Airport, pulled us to the hotel on Kunming Street to stay.
The temperature in Kunming is obviously much higher than our home, and the first thing we do when we live is to "put down" our clothes, and we will go out tomorrow to play and we will have to travel lightly.
Thinking about Xishuangbanna, which I have been thinking about, it is finally approaching step by step, and I am really a little excited in my heart.
