Mondo Gastronomy Updated on 2024-01-29

PVC sheet is a very economical and practical building material, its surface is smooth, shiny, flexible, can be used for decorative details, status bars, drainage systems and other architectural elements, with fireproof, waterproof and other characteristics, so it is widely used in indoor wall decoration, floor decoration, ceiling decoration and other fields. According to the requirements of NF P92-507, the M grade is divided into M0 M4 a total of five grades, and according to the nature and thickness of the product, the test method is mainly divided into NF P92-501 and NF P92-503. When the thickness of PVC sheet exceeds 5mm, the test method is NF P92-501, which is applicable to various types of materials, including but not limited to hard materials such as metal, plastic, ceramic, glass, rubber, etc., and soft materials with a thickness of more than 5mm. This includes a wide range of materials to meet the needs of different projects.

When the thickness of PVC sheet does not exceed 5mm, the test method is NF P92-503, which is applicable to various types of soft materials with a thickness of not more than 5mm, including but not limited to rubber, plastic, fabric, foam, paper, etc. These materials are commonly used in a variety of applications such as sealing, insulation, vibration mitigation, filling, and packaging.

400mm*300mm

600mm*180mm

Fire rating is divided according to the Q value. If necessary, the results of the fire resistance test of the bonded NF P92-504 and the test results of the hot melt material of NF P92-505 are used as the basis for the division.

M1 flame retardant material 0 Q 25

M2 grade difficult and flammable materials 25<q<15

Class M3 Combustible materials 15 q 50

Class M4 Flammable material Q 50

M1-M4 grades are assigned based on the duration of the material's flame, whether there are molten droplets dripping from the sample, and the length and width of the sample destruction.
