Our child is a boy, and there are so many things I've been anxious about since he was born, but here are just a few.
1. Who will take care of him?
When the child was born, my lover only had four months of maternity leave, and as soon as the maternity leave ended, I was anxious about who would take care of him. The child's grandmother clearly said that she couldn't help us watch the child, but fortunately, the child's grandmother was healthy and capable and willing to help us watch the child, so my anxiety was relieved. Later, I went to graduate school and was not at home, and my wife went to work in the countryside, but he was basically not at home, and the children were all taken care of by his grandmother. Now the child and his grandmother are very close, not for nothing.
2. Which kindergarten to attend?
The child has reached the age of going to kindergarten, but fortunately, there are many kindergartens now, and it is not difficult for children to go to kindergarten. But then I moved to a provincial capital city in another province, where I didn't know my life, and my child was in kindergarten, which kindergarten to transfer to?This triggered my anxiety. Fortunately, it was not difficult to go to kindergarten there, and after being introduced by a colleague, I went to a good kindergarten not far from home, and my anxiety was relieved.
3. Which elementary school do you attend?
It is not difficult for children to go to primary school, and they can go to school nearby. But at that time, everyone was crazy and wanted to go to a better elementary school in another area, and we also wanted him to go to a better elementary school, but we had to find a relationship. We're outsiders, and it's okay, so I'm quite anxious about that. Fortunately, another colleague helped us to get our wish, and I was able to relieve my anxiety.
4. Which middle school do you attend?
It's okay to go to junior high school, because it's a compulsory education stage, we can enroll in the nearest school, and we didn't bother much. You can't go to high school, you have to take an exam, and everybody wants to go to the best high school because that means going to a better university. Not only did our children fail to get into a good high school, but they also didn't get into a regular high school, and I was very anxious about that. I asked him if he would like to go to a secondary school or vocational school, and he said no, there was no way, so we had to let him go to a supplementary Xi school. Fortunately, after a year of supplementary Xi school, he was finally admitted to high school, although it was only a very ordinary high school.
5. Which university to attend?
The three years of high school are coming to an end soon, and the child is going to go to college. The child's grades are really not outstanding, how is this good? What if I can't get into college?Do you still want to go to a vocational college?I was anxious and ready for my child to go to vocational college. I consoled myself by saying that it would be good to learn a practical skill in a vocational college and get a good job in the future. But for some reason, the child is reluctant to attend a vocational college. Fortunately, after the results of the college entrance examination came out, I was surprised to find that his grades were able to go to a relatively good second university, so my anxiety was alleviated.
Sixth, the old invited parents.
The fact that my children are always asked to go to school and being asked by their parents also makes me anxious. At first, I asked for it a few times a semester, but by the time I was in junior high school, I was almost once a week. The child is always invited to the parents, mainly because the child is too individual and unwilling to do what the teacher asks, and the teacher is angry, so he calls the parents to scold. In order to calm things down, when I was scolded by his teacher, I never got angry and didn't talk back. But when you go home, you have to educate your children. But this kid has a very stubborn temper, and I can't get in oil and salt, and I have tried many ways to no avail, so I have been anxious until he left home after he went to college.
7. Where to find a job?
Now, the child has graduated from college and asked him to look for a job, but he is reluctant to go, he says he wants to go to graduate school. To be honest, the child is willing to go to school, and we have no objection, but he is a bit ambitious, and the general university is not looking down on it, so he has to be admitted to a good university. But a good university is not easy to get into, and he failed the first graduate school entrance examination. He had to continue to take the exam after failing the graduate school entrance examination, and for this, I was anxious again - I didn't know what the outcome of this matter was.
I once heard a colleague say that his child broke his heart for him as soon as he was born. My child had not yet been born when he said this. After my child was born, I found out that what he said was a bit exaggerated, but it was basically true. Being a parent is really not easy.
