On December 26th, the Chaoma Intercity Railway Three-bid Project undertaken by China Railway Fourth Bureau Group ushered in a major node, and the main tower of the F4 pier of the auxiliary channel bridge of the Yangtze River Bridge of the Ma'anshan Highway and Railway Dual-purpose Yangtze River Bridge of the Chaoma Intercity Railway was successfully capped, and the "A" shaped main tower was like two giant pillars soaring into the sky, standing majestically on the Wanjiang River. The successful capping of the main tower laid a solid foundation for the subsequent erection of steel beams and the construction of ballastless tracks.

The bridge is 844 meters long, the main span is 392 meters long, and the tower is 170 meters high.

The main bridge adopts the upper and lower floor layout, and is constructed in accordance with the standard of "four-line railway + six-lane urban expressway", which has the characteristics of large project scale, high technology content, difficult construction and complex construction environment.

The substructure of the main tower of the F4 pier capped this time is 30 with a diameter of 28 meters bored pile, cushion cap for dumbbell shape, the main tower for the A-type tower, divided into upper, middle and lower tower columns, tower top and lower beams, the upper tower column cable-stayed anchorage area for a single box three-chamber section, a total of 32 sections for construction.

As a direct connection line from Hefei to Ma'anshan, Chaoma Intercity Railway will become an important part of Hefei's "one-hour commuting circle" after completion, and it is also a new high-speed rail channel from Anhui to Shanghai and other Yangtze River Delta cities, which is of great significance to further improve the layout of the regional high-speed railway network, enhance the transportation capacity of the channel, accelerate the development of the Wanjiang urban belt, and build Anhui's "Hangjiahu" and "Yangtze River Delta on the track".
