Autumn and Winter Check-in Challenge
On the third day, plan the third road and try the creek coal mine to cross the 300 mines. After lunch, drive to the old place, get off and go straight west along the mining road.
The outside of the highway is a creek, the inner side of the mining area is a lot of mines, although the coal mine has been closed for many years, the mine still gushes water, 10 meters ahead is the water gushing treatment area, there is sand cement, and the mountain flood ditch is built into cement steps to buffer the pressure of the water fall.
50 meters west of the fork in the road, on the left dirt road is my first hiking route, today go straight to the direction of the scale house.
There are three houses on both sides of the straight cement road, planting turnips and greens along the way, and dogs and chickens are walking around. I thought that the road could lead to the mountain, but it turned out that the 500-meter road was gone, and the end point was the sewage treatment plant of the Emergency Bureau, which prevented the mine wastewater from flowing directly into the creek and polluting the environment.
There was a wooden ladder on the inside, and I climbed up the ladder to observe, and it turned out to be a flash flood bunker, a two-stage cement dam, and there was no way into the mountain from above.
I vaguely remember that there was a road in front of the sewage plant, spiraling up. But there's no way to get through here. So I turned back, intending to cross the bridge to the opposite provincial road and then go west to explore the road.
The return journey passes through a scale, which was previously used for coal weighing. Maybe the scales were purchased on credit, and the coal mine went out of business, and I don't know if the payment was recovered
Thinking of our unit, since 1984, we have been paying freight on credit to the Shanghexi Shaba sulfur mine, but the freight has become a dead account after the collapse of the mine and has not been returned!
There is a forklift parked on the open-air tower of the scale, a retaining wall is built against the mountain, and there is a shiny black coal piled on the side. In those days, it was a sought-after commodity, commonly known as "Ugin", but now the farmers are burning, and no one wants it.
Crossing the bridge to provincial road 228, the traffic is constantly fast, no sidewalk is dangerous, I cautiously walked 1300 meters, and finally found the winding mountain road, on the other side of the creek.
Down to the creek, there is a pebble jumping stone road, fortunately in the dry season in winter the water is shallow to cross the river, in the spring and summer flood season to wade through the water.
The highway is only in its infancy and may have been abandoned before it was opened to traffic. There were cave-ins in many places, and the width was only large enough for a three-wheeled motorcycle. The weeds on both sides of the road were up to 3 meters high, and all of them were cut down and spread on the road like a golden carpet. It seems that some people have feelings for this place and do not want to give up, and after many years the road will be hardened and widened, and it will be connected upwards to 300 yuan.
The highway first slopes up to the southwest, then turns to the northeast, and there is a sheep intestine trail at the corner, and the reed grass is cut down near and there are few footprints; The trail in the distance descends into the jungle, and by all indications it is almost impossible to cross the trek from here to the 300 knots.
So I gave up the 300-mile hike and went east along the road. The outer ridge is a large quicksand, hardly a single shrub grows; The highway ** is overgrown with weeds. Looking ahead, the line of sight is broad, the distant mountains on the opposite side of the valley are full of daisies, and the old highway is winding and circling.
Looking back, the road was across the stream, with a blue fence blocking the entrance. It may be that this is a backup road to transport coal out of the mountain, but the coal mine was closed before it was built, and the road was naturally abandoned.
Bypassing the mountain beam, the eyes suddenly opened up, the two hills of farmland were presented in front of you, the weeds were cleared, and the field ** was set up with a black shed.
When I walked in, it turned out to be a rotary tiller, and there were ashes on the ground, probably broken down and resting here.
Then plant garlic and greens in the farmland, which are green. There is a mine cave on the hill, with a white cement arch above it, which contrasts sharply with the black gravel walls around it.
Looking to the east, there is a rocky mountain, which seems familiar, isn't this the mountain I first hiked into?
Facing the cliff to the north, through the cracks in the grass and trees, I saw the sewage plant. It turned out to come full circle and come back.
Looking around, there was no way into the mountain. So I went down to the cave and saw a bright light on the other side, a white dot. If you can see the opposite side, it means that the tunnel is not long, and you can walk through it.
I used my brain and thought to myself: if the rocky mountain is the mountain I hiked for the first time, then this tunnel is the way I first entered the mountain. I tried to get to the other end of the cave, but I couldn't do it, so I went back the way I came, down the mountain.
The tunnel was dark, and I turned on the flashlight of my mobile phone, and by the faint light, I walked cautiously. A wire hangs down from the cave wall, and a knot on the top, which turns out to be a pinch-type light switch. This is a product from more than 20 years ago, and now it has long been phased out.
The ground was wet, and the washboard nearly tripped me over. If you look closer, it turns out to be a mine sleeper. In those days, when the mine and road were repaired, there was no excavator, and the hoe was used to open the road
The cave was dimly lit, and I was so frightened that I screamed and moved hard, and finally saw the exit. Through the green and yellow grass, the opposite mining house came into view, with white walls and black tiles, I couldn't help cheering, and I sprinted to the entrance of the cave in 100 meters! When I came out, I saw that it was the place where I first entered the mountain the day before yesterday.
There is a small stream in the south of the entrance of the cave, a stone arch bridge spans both banks, and a rescue grain is ripe next to it, and the small fruit is as red as fire.
Three times on foot, three times I saw the dirt road down the mountain. The first two times I walked down the stairs, today I went down the road.
I saw the scale room from afar, the road made a U-shaped bend here, and the road down to the mining area was the starting point today.
From the highway construction section, you can see the soft mountain. Coal mining has been going on for more than 100 years, and there are piles of mineral sand on the roadside.
Another bridge was found outside the road in the mining area, and on the way to find the bridge, a bird's nest was found on the tree.
Pushing aside the thick grass, it turned out to be a minecart bridge, and the rails were gone, leaving only concrete beams.
Standing here and looking east, you can see the road bridge in front of you, and I drove over the bridge five times in three days on foot.
Returning to the east of the mining road, I got closer and saw the rock cover parking lot in the distance, and I parked here every day at noon for three days.
The rubble walls on the inner side of the highway are crawling with vines, dense as curtains drooping.
Although the stone wall is treated, there is still water gushing, muddy rust red, and the shell is dry and cracked. When I was a kid, we called it "crab", which was sticky and thick. In fact, it is not the pulled by crabs, it is a mixture of heavy metals and rust in coal mines, which is toxic.
The wind was blowing, the time was only half past 13, and I went to work early, so I got in the car and went to sleep. The abrupt rock cover can shelter from the rain, but not from the wind. Lying in the warm car, through the window glass, I saw the grass on the stone wall swaying in the wind, rustling.
The three roads at the old coal mine site have been explored, and tomorrow I will leave the mine road and stop to hike elsewhere. One last stop in the glyco, I'm going to take a nap. Through the skylight, I saw the tenacious grass singing in the wind on the stone wall overhead, as if singing a lullaby, accompanying me to sleep and fall asleep.
