This mountain train is similar to the subway. The difference is that the subway mostly runs underground, while the small train in Nuwara Eliya shuttles through the mountains and tea plantations every day
In China, we say that Yunnan is eighteen strange, and trains are not as fast as cars. In Sri Lanka, too, trains can't outrun cars. I can't believe that this is a tourist project, which makes me feel like I am back in the sixties and seventies of the twentieth century. 
It's not a stunt, it's a real photo shoot for me. After the train was moving, there was no need to close the door, and after the train started, this local guy grabbed the handrails with both hands, took off into the air, and hung out of the car, his courage was no less than that of the railway guerrillas.

These old, slow, rickety old-fashioned trains seem to be almost relic. The small train is not long, at most.
