The Haihongqi-16 guidance mode is active radar guidance, and the fire control radar does not have to be continuously illuminated. When dealing with long-range targets, it is necessary to use an S-band search radar with general data rate characteristics. During this period, through the guidance of X-band data, we can continue to maintain tracking operations without showing the characteristics of real blind spots. Of course, we can also adjust the rotation speed to lock on to high-threat targets or track other threat targets. When the high-threat target disappears, it returns to its normal state.

In conclusion, maintaining a high threat status is not something that corvettes often need to deal with, otherwise it would be better to install a four-sided array. From the point of view of external structure, it is a certain fact that our country has indeed achieved positive results in dealing with low-cost construction. In our opinion, the 054B is indeed the world's first frigate equipped with a dual-band radar.
