The answer is also yes, but there are several precautions and suggestions for use, of course, only represent the personal experience and opinions of the old snail, not official standards, for reference only.
1. Power amplifier support.
First of all, you have to check the surround sound amplifier at home, there is the word Dolby Atmos or the official website indicates that it supports Dolby Atmos and supports at least 7 channels, otherwise you won't have to play.
In addition, the function is placed on the side of the TV cabinet, otherwise you still have to go through the cable slot.
2. Room environment.
According to Dolby's requirements, the room height must be 24～4.Between 2m, the recommended floor height is 27～3.6m。All channels, whether direct or reflex, should be below 0 percent distance from the listening position9m。
3. The installation height of the reflex speaker.
The height of the reflex speaker should be higher than the ear height of the listening position, and the old snail recommends that you install it in 12~1.Between 5 meters, try to be as high as possible to avoid the direct sound being too strong, covering up the reflected sound, and the sound field will be chaotic.
If the height of the front speaker is not enough, you can install a tray on the wall, similar to the picture below, and put the speaker tilt angle.
4. Radiation angle.
Theoretically, this angle needs to be calculated, depending on the height of the room, the height of the speaker installation, the distance between the speaker and the listening position, the coverage of the speaker, etc.
However, the angle of most of the finished reflex speakers on the market is not adjustable, and it stands to reason that it is not difficult to do this function, even if it is only tuned high.
Maybe the manufacturer thinks that they all use reflective speakers, and they still pay attention to thisThe echo bar is highly dependent on the reflection of the wall, and most living rooms do not have walls on both sides and reflect a hammer, which is not also used by a large number of people.
Although we don't need to calculate it as accurately as the stage sound reinforcement array, we can also roughly estimate it and adjust the placement angle appropriately.

5. Speaker requirements.

I don't know if you've noticed, the woofer of reflex speakers is generally not large, and the lower limit of the cut-off frequency is also high.
This has something to do with one of the characteristics of sound: the higher the frequency, the stronger the directivity;The lower the frequency, the worse the directivity, which is why the subwoofer can be stealthy.
High frequencies are similar to the reflection of light (wave-particle duality, Schrödinger's cat, I won't expand on it), in the reflex panoramic sound system, what we want is to hear as much reflected sound as possible, so satellite speakers or ultra-thin wall speakers may have a better effect.
And if you're using a speaker with a lower frequency limit, I also recommend that you set the crossover frequency a little higher, more than 200Hz, which is very important.
