The name Liang Xingchu is always accompanied by a label, that is, "Liang Daya". This nickname had already begun to be widely known during the Red Army's Long March. One of the reasons is because of Liang Xingchu's physical characteristics, his thick eyebrows and big eyes, majestic style, especially his slightly protruding incisors on the upper jaw, hence the name Liang Daya. Another reason is that Liang Xingchu was a brave general who often gritted his teeth when fighting, hence the nickname.
However, after the end of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, Liang Xingchu underwent orthodontic surgery for his front teeth, and the big tooth returned to its place, and the nickname Liang Daya gradually faded out of people's sight. In addition to the nickname "Liang Daya", Liang Xingchu also had many other nicknames, such as "iron-beaten".
Liang Xingchu was a blacksmith before joining the revolution, because he was often injured, and once he was even shot in the head, everyone thought he had died. Unexpectedly, Liang Xingchu picked up a life, he was really an "iron" man. Bullets can't knock him down. In addition, there is also "one with a knife", because Liang Xingchu likes guns and sabers, and often rides horses with knives, so he is called "one with a knife". In addition, Liang Xingchu's original name was Liang Xingzuo, but the brigade commander Chen Guanglao always read Liang Xingzuo as Liang Xingzuo, so Liang Xingchu applied to change "Zuo" to "knife" and changed his name to Liang Xingchu, so he added another nickname "with a knife". At the beginning of Liang Xingchu, he once emerged on the battlefield behind enemy lines in Shandong, and was known as the "Tiger General" and was famous.
He fought in Shandong and went south to assist the New Fourth Army in the battle, which terrified the Japanese puppet army and made it famous. Mr. Chen respectfully called him "Tiger General",* and gave him another nickname, "Fierce General", in recognition of his heroic performance in the battle of Jiazi Mountain. In addition, Mr. Lin also gave Liang Xingchu a nickname - "Liang Monkey". Why?During the Long March, Liang Xingchu served as the commander of the reconnaissance company of the Red First Army, and often disguised himself as a Kuomintang officer to go deep behind enemy lines to collect intelligence, just like Sun Wukong went deep into the enemy formation. Therefore, Mr. Lin called him "Liang Monkey". In addition, during the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, Liang Xingchu won a high-profile title - "Long Live Army Commander", which was given by Mr. Peng.
Each of the four marshals gave him a nickname, which made Liang Xingchu's face shine.
