What to do if Mac pop ups are blocked?

Mondo Technology Updated on 2024-01-28

On your Mac, if you find that the pop-up window is blocked, here are a few things you can do to fix it:

Method 1: Check Safari preferences.

Open the preferences of your Safari browser. You can quickly open the preferences window by clicking on the Safari menu and then selecting the "Preferences" option, or by pressing the "Command" and "" keys at the same time.

Locate the "Security" tab of your Safari browser. In this tab, you can see some of your browser's security settings and options.

In the Security tab, find the "Block pop-ups" option and check that it is checked. If it is checked, uncheck it and restart the Safari browser for the new settings to take effect.

Method 2: Manually add ** to the trust list.

Open your Safari browser and visit the ** you need to add to your trust list.

Click on the Safari menu at the top of your Safari browser and select the "Set this site" option. In the "Set this site" pop-up window, set the pop-up option to "Allow" and click the "Done" button. This adds the pop-up to the trust list and no longer blocks pop-ups when browsing the item in the future.

Method three: Check the ** settings and restart the Safari browser.

Open the configured ** in the Safari browser and check its settings. If the pop-ups on these are set to "Block", they can be modified to "Allow".

If you don't see Provisioned, you haven't set up a block pop-up for any sites, or you've cleared the list. At this point, you can click the "When you visit others" pop-up menu and choose to allow pop-ups to appear.

Restart your Safari browser for the new settings to take effect.

The above methods can help you fix the issue of pop-ups blocked on Mac. If the problem persists, it is recommended to check the browser plug-in or consider resetting your browser's settings.
